fun fact for those who didn't know: Not only was Velma being a lesbian cut from Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated, but it was also cut out of the live action movies as well! She was meant to have a scene where she got drunk and sang a love song to Daphne, but the idea was scrapped. Then in the sequel the writers were told that they needed to add a male love interest for Velma, just to further cement the idea that she's not gay. So glad that after all this time we can FINALLY have lesbian Velma! Velma is a queer icon and no one can tell me otherwise. 🏳‍🌈
