Great video! I learned to fly in gliders, so I'm used to a yaw string. Remember "step on the hole", i.e. the side where the string is NOT.

@@TakingOff I started in gliders, then SEL and now own a MTO 2017 so I recall "step in the hole" as well. Glad to see you getting back on the "horse". Flying a gyro in the UK is a bucket item for me.

Dan sorry did I miss something? You have a bad experience? We had a Flynn on our farm in Zambia and five Gyros made the long trip to Zambia from South Africa. They gave a lot attending the event a ride in them and they struggle to get get me out. I absolutely loved them.

Glad to see you got over the jitters, I knew this would be a good flight for you. As you said, getting back on the horse, and you never did seem to have an issue. Whether you purchase another gyro, I don't know. If you want to, I most certainly hope that you do and that you are comfortable flying them again. You appeared to have done a great job. Looking forward to seeing Christie's flight. Oh, as to 'Nessie' at 16:49, I was going to comment, but somehow I thought it was just some sort of reflection on the water. I was going to say that, too, and that people confused reflections and light to be a monster. But, yeah, good job putting that in there!

LOL about 16:49. We enjoyed placing our little easter egg. Yeah, back about a month before this flight, I crashed a gyro on takeoff. WHen NTSB/FAA get finished, I'll post all about it. But been waiting forever.
