Wow that is cool. Seeing the play from the QB perspective. And like previously stated they will polish this over time

Many years ago I saw a video that showed the game through the eyes of a QB during a 2 minute drill. I think it was Favre and they must have had a camera in his helmet. They went through everything that was going on, what the QB was looking at, what the defense was doing. I'm amazed anybody can play QB at an elite level in the NFL. You can't play it waiting to see a receiver open and then throw the ball.

This is the best segment on espn. Give me an NFL qb looking through the eyes of an NFL qb. It’s be really cool to see how a defensive disguise creates an interception too. VR view is just awesome
@Bet021-r2wКүн бұрын
This segment was absolutely phenomenal! I didnt expect the vr tech to work so seamlessly. And Dan did a fantastic job operating the tech while clearly and concisely breaking everything down in lamens terms. Its amazing the amount of info qbs process every play I would love tovsee more of this!!!

"DAN LOVE HAWK TUA!"😮
@Don-md6wnКүн бұрын
Great stuff. All most fans see is there's space around the receiver catches the ball and they say "anybody could make throw to a wide open receiver" without realizing that Tua had to throw the ball early so it would be there when the receiver had maximum separation. A lot of people just can't accept processing speed, spatial recognition, quick release and accuracy as elite traits for a QB.

Did he say “HUAC TUA” at the end when calling out who he thought would win?

NFL pro era should dig into this lane and focus on being used to recreate more on the field plays we’ve seen on tv. Madden is the leading nfl video game and I don’t remember the last time they used its footage to explain the logistics of an nfl play. This game is the future of simulation football, just needs some tweaking and updating.

All that to casually proclaim in the end that Love is a better QB
@Don-md6wnКүн бұрын
Orvolsky has always been a big fan and defender of Tua when most people were crapping on him. He was just saying he'd give Love an edge because they're playing in Green Bay (and the weather is going to be in the 20's which makes it tougher on the Dolphins passing game that depends on speed and precision).
@ZGh0st1422Күн бұрын
he didn't say he was the better qb, he said he's got the edge to win this specific game at home
@df3575Күн бұрын
@ZGh0st1422 a whole Lotta words about how special Tua is to say the other guy "has the edge" in any context. It leads all the credence to those that argue there are a number of QBs -- any one would consider equal or better to Jordan Love -- who are better, period.
@ZGh0st1422Күн бұрын
@ when 2 qbs are both playing well, you usually give the edge to the guy that’s home during a short week and an incoming cold wave, that’s not crazy to say

Why can’t they use Madden as the interface Would flow 100x better
@acidbatharchiveКүн бұрын
Because Madden doesn’t play anything like real life… with the VR they can pretty much recreate plays and players exact movements
