Though it's clear that he seems to be a decent HEAD Coach (players seem to play hard for him) there is no evidence he's a good offensive coach, which is why he was hired in the first place. @santaclause34873 жыл бұрын
Fields is trash. He needed to get rid of the ball quick, that was the game plan. Vs a good browns d line. Makes sense to me. He was afraid to take chances and throw picks, would rather take sacks. Just shows he’s incapable of following a game plan. They have his back cause they all don’t want to admit they don’t know everything about sports and we’re wrong. It’s unreal how stubborn these analysts are, just won’t admit Fields sucks. Bears wasted not only 1 mid first round pick, but possibly a top 10 pick next year, and if dalton can’t play maybe the number 1 overall. The bears trading up for him and giving up that much, fields needed to be an NFL ready player, not a 2-3 year project. Would have made more sense to wait for fields to drop in the draft to u, which was possible since nobody who needed a qb wanted him, and if he was taken then make a play at Mills or Trask later in the draft. And to think Bears fans booed Trubisky, who was statistically the best QB in bears history. They booed Dalton in preseason, who is better than every qb they ever had. Chicago fans are the worst and they deserve this. When the bears drafted Fields, Eddie Jackson tweeted, “we finally got a quarterback!” Lmao, like Fields is better than Dalton. Dalton played as a rookie, never looked that bad. And it just wasn’t the game plan, dudes were open, fields had time to get rid of the ball and avoid 7 of those sacks. He threw the ball into triple coverages and even over threw wrs 10 yards away so bad the ball was 20 feet over mooneys head. Fields should be cut.
@santaclause34873 жыл бұрын
@@ronin4303 bears d line sacked mayfield 4 or 5 times, should have sacked him 8 but mayfield made nice plays. They aren’t talking about how bad the Browns game plan was. Difference is Fields is trash. At least a year away from being ready to play. The problem isn’t the game plan, it’s the fact that fields never should have played since he sucks. Foles would have been a better option, but this is what the fans wanted. I blame Nagy for drafting him, blame him for using Mitch as an excuse to keep his job, but I don’t blame him for seeing what fields could do. And fields showed he is far from ready. They couldn’t run pa bootlegs, browns were all over it. Fields wants to hold the ball forever, and he needs to learn to read a defense and make a decision, but he would rather take a sack than risk a pick.

Rex Ryan need to be the coach of the Chicago Bears!
@WillsonT0113 жыл бұрын
It's amazing how people forget how bad of a coach he was with the JETS and BILLS. Remember the first couple of Seasons with the Jets as the new head coach was with Eric Mangini players then Rex Ryan started to bring his own players in and they sucked. Same story with the bills

U don’t want him !!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
@cainbutler62913 жыл бұрын
@@WillsonT011 nah he was a solid coach. But mainly on defense tho. He had two really good seasons and then the nfl teams started figuring Rex Ryan out and exposed him. That secondary was nearly impossible to throw against when Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie was there…but he wasn’t a terrible coach. I’d give him a shot.

As a bear fan I love every time Rex Ryan talks about us because he really is a bear fan and he really lets out how we feel on national tv he was the only guy focusing on the real problem (Nagy) when everybody else wanted to talk about the qb situation last year

@@mpg3946 unfortunately he’s our coach, he just doesn’t know how to call plays anymore. We can’t score in the red zone and he calls pass plays way too much. It’s just time to get a fresh young mind in there

I am 21 years old and sundays against the browns was the most disappointing game I’ve witnessed as a bears fan. I really hope the mccaskey family fires Matt Nagy. The whole city of Chicago is aching for a successful bears team

Same... As a lifelong Bears fan whose college defensive line coach is the current OC for the LA Chargers, and former QB Coach for Drew Brees, I'm trained to recognize the things they focused on during this segment... My heart sank to see how fundamentally bad everything was. The lack of pocket movement and horizontal motion of that offense was criminal. The route distribution was juvenile.

Not really, its not like the team is 1-7 right now, and there are PLENTY of coaches available (many of them BIPOC, though i guess thats the reason Chocago continues to roll with Nagy)
@JReece30003 жыл бұрын
He’s so inept keeping him literally puts what’s supposed to be your franchise QB at risk. Yes the O Line is ridiculously trash but anyone who understands football knows there are ways to game plan around that to help your QB out and he didn’t do any of it.
