Lamar should have lost by 3 touchdowns. The Chiefs dropped 2 touchdowns. The game was never really close because Lamar is the ultimate choke artist that can't ever hit wide open receivers against an atrocious Chiefs defense that left those receivers open a ton. He also refuses to share very many carries with Derrick Henry because he's selfish and only thinks about himself running the entire game because deep down he knows he can't throw the football consistently and accurately. Oh so Joe is supposed to be blamed for teammates dropping passes, and fumbling the football away as well as receivers not getting open and winning matchups down the field. In addition his defense couldn't tackle, or stop the run at all, but he plays on defense and should have been able to take away the Patriots only weapon as well in Stevenson.
@jamaljones31Ай бұрын
@@allisondecker1918you saying Lamar taking carries away from Derrick Henry, when Henry was barely on the field to begin with😂😂 , that’s a coaching issue buddy, learn who really calls the plays…everybody is aware Lamar missed 2 throws he should’ve made which could’ve won the Ravens the game at the end…he followed that up with a throw he DID make but the receivers toe was out of bounds. Lamar gets grilled for his performance, putting up over 400 yards by himself against the 2 time defending champs on the road but Burrow didn’t even reach 175 yards against a rebuilding team with a journeyman QB at home😂😂😂😂…you a hypocrite in real time with a whole dissertation defending Burrow 😂😂
@allisondecker1918Ай бұрын
@@jamaljones31 Yeah that's because the coaches know that Lamar won't sacrifice 20-25 touches to Henry, which is what he's used to from his days in Tennessee. The Ravens are cooked. They are going to be bounced early on in the playoffs if they even make it at all as a wild card.
@allisondecker1918Ай бұрын
@jamaljones31 You're missing the entire point. Had the Chiefs not dropped 2 touchdowns you would have lost by 3 touchdowns. I'm sorry if you can't comprehend the truth. That last play with Likely's toe being out wouldn't have even been a factor then and the bottom line is Joe makes those 2 throws to the wide open wide receivers on that last drive. Lamar also got the receiver drilled 1 play prior to the toe out play. Your job as the QB is to protect the receiver always. I'm not a hypocrite. How dare you be condescending and call me that? I'm speaking the truth of where the blame lies and Burrow isn't to blame for this loss. Yeah no duh you aren't going to pass for more than 200 yards when all the passes have to be at the line of scrimmage, or behind and your receivers can't rack up yards after the catch. The coaches also didn't push the ball down the field, which is where you rack up a lot of passing yards as a QB. Brissett didn't win them this game. He was awful. Stevenson single handedly kept them in the game even though the Patriots only scored 6 points on their actual own without the turnovers. The Bengals should have had 27 points at the very minimum wothout the turnovers, which means they would have blown them out. Josh Allen also lost to the Patriots last year and the Patriots actually scored touchdowns in that game as opposed to being held to kicking field goals in this game without the turnovers. I didn't see you killing Josh Allen for that game, or the Jets game week 1 without Rodgers.

He has had 2 seasons of playing like a top 5 QB in this league, but he has not gotten better. He can’t stay healthy, and even before he got knocked out last year, he was having a horrible season. His best seasons are behind him and the Bengals championship window is closed. Tired of the excuses for him. We kill Herbert, Hurts, Lamar, Dak, Allen, for not winning. @@brianbadonde9251 This quote is technically referring to more traditional journalism but last I checked, sports analysts are journalists; “In case there is any confusion about what commentary is, a good rule of thumb is when phrases like “I think”, “I believe”, “In my opinion” are used in your news copy you are straying into the arena of commentary. Commentary is different from analysis. Journalists sometimes provide analysis, which is context for understanding a story. Analysis is not opinion; it is a way of adding fact-based clarity. Journalists should avoid delivering commentaries about issues that they are covering. When journalists mix commentary and reporting roles, reasonable readers/viewers/listeners may be confused about which role you are fulfilling on any given day. Commentary should be fact-based and commentators should reveal the source of their facts just as journalist’s source their news reporting. The best commentary adds clarity to complexity and does not offer simplistic solutions at the expense of nuanced understanding.” I think this gets to the point that my original comment was attempting to convey, what we see on these shows by supposed analysts isn’t actually analysis, and definitely not constructive or consistent…from my perspective 🙂

This basically forfeits the teams first four games year after year. Starters MUST PLAY DURING THE PRESEASON or you're gonna lose games you should win. Joe, Trey Hendrickson and Chase were the only ones that showed up consistently and actually fought. No team will win very many games when 3/22 players actually shows up with energy and effort. Zac Taylor deserves to be fired for not having our players prepared. I'd also like to fire the entire front office staff because all of these contract distractions have taken Zac away from doing his actual job. How can you practice without having tackling/ball security drills? It's mind boggling that these issues continue to plague us. Enjoy your win because there won't be many more unless another team gifts you the game. Brissett is incapable of throwing the football and your only weapon offensively is Stevenson who only had all of his rushing yards but 4 after contact, which is just inexcusable that 11 Bengals players couldn't tackle and get him to the ground quickly. Stevenson is still running. Ugh it makes me so sick that we just pissed this very winnable game away off our careless mistakes. The Patriots don't win without us gifting them 10 points plain and simple. The two fumbles were 100% avoidable.

Everything in this segment is so spot on!!! Except your stats on Ja'Marr is very misleading. Let Ja'Marr catch short passes across the middle like Burrow was mainly throwing if you want to compare stats like that. Why didn't Burrow target Ja'Marr more than 6 times? That's Burrow's choice more than Zac's. Why did Ja'Marr only have 2 receptions for 7 yards in the 1st half. Obviously Ja'Marr missing practice had an impact on Burrow feeling confident in throwing Ja'Marr the ball If Burrow has a huge say in this offense (like he has said since his rookie year) then why doesn't Burrow want to go UC or have motions or scheme up plays to make things easier at times & more varied & less predictable So many in Bengals media doesn't understand why we bring up Mixon's success in a new offense ... because we need a new scheme or new offense or just more variety in Burrow's offense. Are you saying Burrow isn't capable to play like CJ Stroud or in a similar offense or have some similar plays? Burrow's preferred offense has never been successful on a consistent basis. Mahomes was willing to change in order to win and Burrow has to also if his main objective is to win

We are frustrated as fans. it seemed they went vanilla and thought they’d still be able to control the game and win. yes TEE got ruled out late and Jamarr got food poisoning Saturday but still. Chase was open on a lot more critical downs, they couldn’t tackle to save their lives and was disappointing as a season ticket holder to go down like that after the offseason hype. #Brutal

Burrow lookin like Aaron Carter 2.0 out here with them white/blonde tips… 🤣😂

@@AdamB34 he is only good with 2 to 3 elite receivers. Look at the years he only had 1 or 0 elite receivers. Same with Cincinnati Andy Dalton

@@Nzaizzick from 2021-2023 Chase and Higgins missed 11 games. Burrow went 8-3 with 23 tds and 8 ints in those 11 games. Again, you're embarrassing yourself

Dan Pitcher is horrible. Predictable, easy to read, no wrinkles, no play action, no misdirection, etc. A HUGE part of an offensive coordinators job is to keep defenses guessing EVERY SINGLE PLAY! This team will never win a Super Bowl until this coaching staff is fired and replaced by a confident, disciplined, creative and innovative coaching staff. It's that simple.

No surprises here slim brady needs to be carried by elite pass catchers. Unlike the real brady.

Been a Bengals fan almost 4 decades.. and I agree. All these problems are a result of the leadership of the Brown family. Too afraid to spend money

That's the root cause along with firing coaches in a timely manner. How long did we suffer under the Lewis regime?
@orbchords533Ай бұрын
@californialove3732 the Lewis ear was marvelous compared to what I sent through in the middle to late 90s.. even early 2000s. I remember the Carters and Blakes lol
