Dan Reynolds Credits Kelly Clarkson For Imagine Dragons' Existence

"I don't think Imagine Dragons actually would be a thing if it weren't for you." In the early days of the band, Dan Reynolds reveals Imagine Dragons got to open for Kelly Clarkson after winning a “Utah’s Got Talent” competition. Dan credits that show and Kelly for helping Imagine Dragons kick off their career. Dan also dishes on singing a cappella, and being upstaged by a NASA dad, at his daughter's school career day.

Honestly it’s possible. I’m an introvert with a customer focused job. While at work, I take on a different persona which is friendly and outgoing. However, outside of work, I’m a complete introvert. In fact, putting up that persona can greatly exhaust me.

I could've watched this interview for hours. I absolutely love imagine dragon. Kelly is right, that band definitely has allot of upbeat music to workout with. I never would have guessed Dan was an introvert. I really feel bad for people who struggle with that on a daily basis.

I'm an introvert as well and I can tell you that I love it lol. Most of us introverts are extroverted in certain situations or scenarios, but are mainly introverted in daily life. We literally need quiet time to recharge and enjoy alone time or intimate one on one connections with only a few people. We don't have casual friendships. We may know many people or have many acquaintances, but only a small few will be friends. While all of this may sound boring or miserable if you are an extrovert, it's heaven to us. It's what makes us function and feel peaceful. So, you don't have to feel bad for us.

I went to an Imagine Dragons concert 4 years ago, it was AMAZING! Dan was shirtless of course, and seemed very comfortable in his skin. During one of his songs, he came up the stairs by where we were sitting, and I touched his arm!! 🤩🥰 Very muscular!! 💪🏼
