Thank you so much, Carl! And since I always try to tell the truth: I'm a madman and I'm afraid the next update will prove it, hahaha! But there'll be an inbox review on the resin 50 cals first and I guess you'll like them. :)

A metric tonne of really cool ideas there. I really liked that road wheel trick.

Thank you so much, Michael! Maybe I'd never had the idea if I had an AB two and a half decades ago, but I'm really glad that I found a way to paint the road wheels seperately. :)

@non-prolific135thscalemode75 жыл бұрын
Steine können also wieder "entkommen". Wahrscheinlich wurden die Gummis trotzdem malträtiert, aber da müsste ich erst nach Referenzmaterial suchen. :)

Haha 1:38 - tears of laughter, here! You did some uncanny manipulation to improve the parts supplied by the kit. Brilliant work! This is probably one of the best buddy builds ever! - Trevor
@non-prolific135thscalemode75 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, Trevor! Glad you liked the "Long Tom" bit. It wouldn't be too difficult to make closed bogie parts the way I change them and add two axles for each bogie. Then everybody could do the paint job the way I do it. :)

Great vid my friend a classic kit I built this many moons ago its ok for straight out the box but you got some nice PE parts to make it better looking forward to seeing your next update all the best Jens
@non-prolific135thscalemode75 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot, Faron! I didn't see it that way, but I think you're right. It's a classic kit although it's only 12 years old. I'm a bit itchy to get the PE, but I'm also afraid of it. I haven't got a lot of experience with the stuff. I'll try not to make you wait for too long for the next vid. :)

Thanks a lot my friend! The usual stuff I do with these bogies, hehehe. I'll have to be more careful in the future. My mistake wouldn't have been one on Sherman bogies, but these are different. I need to work faster, although there's a huge PE set underways. :)
@GregReilly135ScaleModels5 жыл бұрын
How much of the pe are you going to use is it mostly external stuff will look forward to you tackling that
@non-prolific135thscalemode75 жыл бұрын
I'll also use a lot of parts for inside the cab. It'll be open almost completely, so there'll be a lot visible. At least I want to try to use what I need. If I should fail - damage the parts - I'll use them as role models for scratch building them. :)
@GregReilly135ScaleModels5 жыл бұрын
Now that will look so good to see.I'm sure a man of your talents wont fail but you being you you will scratch build something from the Pe
@non-prolific135thscalemode75 жыл бұрын
I don't like PE. It makes me nervous. All parts I scratch build can be replicated again and again and again, but on a PE fret all parts are there but once. Well, I wanted the grates and the Eduard set would have been as expensive as the complete one by Part. No question which to chose, hehehe!

Hello my dear friend. I wish you had said I have a few .50 Cal's you could of had . I have ordered recently a couple of the live REsin bits and I can't decide if I'm impressed or not . I ordered a couple of modern British SA80s and they look awesome in the pictures but reality they are very different. I'm hoping to rebuild the meng cougar this year as all my kits I did when I first started , well try decent kits I want to re do now image learned alot of new methods etc . Well I was thinking of getting one of the live REsin machine gun turrets. But I'm still undecided . I always do the damage to the road wheels mate it's a great call from yourself as that is one thing I always see when watching other folks builds that the road wheels they miss . I also make sure when painting that I chip the tyres to and add a warn type colouring to the paint on the tyres !! Look at me the great big rivet counter !!! Lol !!anyway I hope you are all well and stay safe buddy

Thanks for stopping by, Steve! Dan and I already found out that there are differences between their catalogue CAD drawings and the actual set part. The ranges you can see on the 50's rear sight aren't that clearly visible on the the resin part, but all in all they are the nicest Brownings we saw up to now. I was a bit disappointed that the do mostly modern stuff and I really don't care for that, but their German WW II helmets look fantastic. Mark offered to do some shopping for me when he's in Telford later this year. That's really nice of him, because I can only order from Taiwan or the USA. Shipping from the USA is way to expensive, but it takes ages to get your stuff from Taiwan, so it'll be Mark and Telford. All I need to do is saving up some money till then. Oh, and I mix Tamiya black (90%), German grey and flat brown (5% each) for the base paint on tyres. :)

Absolutely shocked at how bad this kit is! It's like a zveda kit it's that bad! I have built a good few hobby boss kits but there some of the best I have built! Next to non and nothing like this kit! And there new panzer line and marder 3s are stunning! The look as good as RFM or AFV club! But the panzer line are ex tri star but even from 2007 a kit this bad from hobby boss! I've never seen it yet!
