@walters123 He doesn't have an autotuner. It's a vocoder, it takes the note you're singing and then jumps around it's scale, like the fifth and third etc. It gives your voice a electronic sound like this one. And I can prove he dont have an autotuner cause I have perfect pitch and he hits a couple of flats in the first verse. But he's acc a very good singer.

You mean vocoding, yeah? Autotune isn't a musical style, it's a tool that producers use to keep the singer in key. Vocoding, however, is putting the voice through a synth to control the voice. Subtle difference, but an important one. For my two cents, fucking love the song. Awesome. x

no that "sound" jumping around is the retune speed (which is set to fast) the other point of a vocoder is that it is played through an instrument (similar to a talk box) watch a live video of imigon heap if you want to see a vocoder. no one in the video is playing the notes for him... Also a top of the range vocal producer in rack style (which inclues and AT) can only be like £200... and to be honest any good music venue will have a vocal producer,

no, its autotune. hes using a vocal producer, he isnt changing the pitch of his voice using a coder or talkbox. its all autotuned.

Yeah but I still think it would be better if he varied it a bit, he's obviously got a decent voice so he shouldn't hide behind a vocoder the entire time. Also it's not a particularly original style, it just sounds like Hellogoodbye. I'm only saying this cos I think he has potential.

Dude an autotuner doesn't make a sound like that. Cos it autotunes your voice, not make the sound jump around. That's what a vocoder does. Plus, Using autotune life takes alot of preparation and is expensive, Channel 4 wouldn't spend that much money on some small time artists. I've seen him live myself and he goes off key sometimes, showing he obvs aint using an autotuner. So yeah, it's a vocoder. end of
