The best. I wish they got more views because these guys deserve it. They get underpaid and paved the way ...Dan was past his prime when he started. I wish they had millions of veiws and millions of dollars

Honkey Tonk is a great storyteller with a lucid, clear mind and Mr. Severn is surprisingly good(in my opinion) at interviewing considering he wasn't the "mic guy" during his wrestling days and was pretty quiet too in his MMA career(did his "talking" in the cage).
@TheFrogballz Жыл бұрын
Agree. I think the best besides jim cornette
@bazdaniels7420 Жыл бұрын
HA! Absolutely, well said and not the mike guy at the scripted part here either x)

They both rarely had proper conversations during the main portion of careers but had some amazing interviews dude if he wasn't a Elvis look a like he would have been one of my favorite pro wrestlers as a kid I am just glad that I was old enough to have watched most of Dan's and Don's MMA careers growing up only 6 men in MMA could compare to their toughness they were like old school gun slingers or a cop from Mad Max

Gunther is the most dominate and longest reigning IC champ. Because wrestling metics are so complex, based on HTM's unshakable heat as IC champ I vote HTM as the IC goat. I saw HTM lose to SD Jones at a house show. After losing, he grabbed the mic and left me feeling more mad than if he won. Greatest IC Champ ever. 1:07:24

Great interview! Big fan of The Honky Tonk Man from his days as WWF Intercontinental Champion. He was a heel and we were supposed to dislike him but I thought he was great. I've seen him on other channels and he has a LOT of very interesting stories. You should definitely get together in one place and do another interview this year.

The Honky Tonk Man was a true heel. I couldn’t stand him when I was a kid BUT I did love when he busted guitars over dude’s heads. Lower level guys still do this in honor of him! I’ve seen it. I had no idea he and JKL were cousins!! That’s awesome. Great episode and I definitely spiked that 👍🏾

I lost interest in pro wrestling when i was about 12 years old. It seemed like comic book stuff for people who didn't like to read. Now that im older, I suppose it's more like a masculine version of opera, where comedy and tragedy skilfully play out on the stage. Singing is replaced with yelling, emotion is replaced by physicality, and there is a little more beer fueled audience participation. THAT I can appreciate. Still a little "comic bookish", but i get it and appreciate it a lot more from this perspective, as male entertainment. Great show, guys. I love what you do.
