Dan Tyminski Band at the Ogden Music Festival, June 3, 2023

Here's the Dan Tyminski Band at the Ogden Music Festival in Ogden, Utah, performing just a few weeks before an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
Thanks to the Dan Tyminski Band and the Ogden Music Festival for making it possible for me to share this with you.
Dan has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards over his 30+ year career and was named Male Vocalist of the Year five times by bluegrass music associations.
With Dan on guitar and vocals, the rest of the band is Gaven Largent on dobro, Maddie Denton making that fiddle sing, Jason Davis playing banjo, Grace Davis on bass, and Harry Clark burning up that mandolin.
Unfortunately, during Dan's solo portion of the show, someone inadvertently hit the tripod, knocking it a little skeewhompus, and Harry and his mando went AWOL from the screen for a spell. Luckily, we can still hear him.

I'll rate this band A+ for all players. Dan had high praise for Gavin Largent by comparing him to Jerry Douglas. I've heard both. Gavin may be excellent but he's no Jerry Douglas.

Yeah, I'm glad Dan is happy with all his players, but really? Might want to check with Jerry Douglas, Rob Ickes, Andy Hall, and Steve Lutz. And Sierra Hull's VERY lucky beau, Justin Moses.

It's really too bad when performers don't have any fun. They really should learn to lighten up and enjoy it.

I guess I missed that, they looked mostly happy to me. They could look a little better though[appearance wise]; maybe not look like they just came in out of the alley.
