I was born and raised in Maryland and in 2000 we deserted and moved to Delaware. I’m 81 and love Dan’s music. (Even the heavy metal). To me he has one of the best voices of today. He’s striving for one million KZbin subscribers and I think he deserves them and would love to see it happen. His opera covers are my favorites, though.

Great reaction! Just one little thing - I think hearing and listening should be reversed. Hearing is what you do when you're not dialed in and 100% focused. For example, as I type this, I'm hearing the traffic on the road outside my window, but I'm not locked in and focused in on it. Listening, though, is what you do when you are locked in and focused. For proof of this, consider these lines from The Sound Sound of Silence - "People people talking without speaking, people hearing without listening." Dan crushes that song, too, as well as For All. I'll watch reactions to any Dan songs, though.

I finally realized why Dan's performances have affected me so completely. TRUST! I know I can just let go and enter the world that he is creating. i will agree it is a great cover. Just the fact trying to cover a Roy Khan song, and doing it justice is tough., Dan managess that. He has a great voice, but my preferance goes to the original.
