same here, can't stand most metal, but I discovered this finally with one of my favorite reactors (Gracie Reacts) as I'm a regular to her channel, so I watched her reaction despite the song having "metal" in the channel, and my oh my, Dan can sing sing! And after my first introduction I started watching more reactions, this is fun! Brandon is another channel I've subbed, but usually visit him only for my favorite artists... guess Dan now is one of my favorite artists, at least with this song - have not checked anything else by him - I'm afraid it might be metal metal... :) Lol, any suggestions?

Daniel Vasc has talent given by God & he is using it to praise God! This is the very BEST version I've EVER heard of this song. Dan did this song proud, he did it justice!!! I recently found Dan Vasc here on KZbin and am “amazed” at his version of this beautiful classic spiritual song. It touched me down in my soul. Glad to see your reaction to it. Many many others have had the same surprise and feelings from it. I’ve been subscribed to his channel and he’s such a down-to-earth young man and so blessed with that voice and heart the Lord gave him. God guided me to his channel. These days prayer and faith and music to me are the alixers and peace in my life. 🙏🏻

the amazing thing about the harmonica, it was a gift from his father that pass away some years ago, and when he sing Elvis Presley song's (in this case a cover from the cover of Elvis) he always bring the harmonica with him because his father was a big fan of Elvis

Dan Vasc has a God-given gift is what he's got!! Never have i ever heard a better rendition. And Im a PK (Preacher's Kid) have been in church since in utero. My daddy's in radio and Christian broadcasting. Im also a vocalist, musician, pianist, and play guitar. My Granny also played the harmonica with that kind of talent! What a blessing! I can't stop listening to this and sharing it with everyone! I want it sung at my funeral by him!! (On tape if he can't be there!)
