Another thing about the simplicity of the song, is something I was thinking of just two days ago, while watching this song yet again (it's always one of my favorites when I need really good inspiration for anything at which I've been struggling a bit--like being behind 10 days in my INKTOBER 2023 progress...sigh). During the "riffs," Dan has to wait very patiently until it's time for him to begin singing again. Because he's DAN, we don't mind waiting with him, but you can sense how much he wants to NOT be so patient. I admire him even more, for being so absolutely musically-minded, that he does it, anyway. In other songs, he might clown around a little bit, but in this one, he waits quietly and patiently (yet impatiently) for the specified time to "enter" once again. I love it when, after one of those "interruptions" (the third one, I think...at 7:53 here in your video), he gets to sing, "...we can go on forever..." After watching his face (while he's obviously been enjoying the music even though he wants to get back to the WORDS), he has the SOUND of that patience in his voice...until...the forever-warrior face lights up, appropriately to the strong, positive lyrics that Dan loves so dearly. Oh, the JOY that begins to pour into, through, and out of him, as he begins to gesture the story, as well as triumphantly sing THE GOOD NEWS! (He truly is a bard!) Then...he puts the period on the final statement, shows his once-more peaceful face, and...fade to black! The other video where I LOVE that he does that, in the end, is "Music of the Night." I told my youngest daughter (my husband and I live with her, her husband, and their eight children) one day not long ago, that when he does that, I want to just, at that point, in that song, give up, and run after him, into that blackness, just as quickly as possible! She laughed like crazy, because she feels the same way. Dan's music is so hard to resist...so we don't. We are both musicians and singers, and we just...can't! Aha! I wrote all of the above BEFORE you ended with the mention of the romantic nature of the ending, and your questions to your viewers! So there...already answered! (grin) Seriously--I LOVE watching your videos (with CC or Transcript on). Your reactions are always superb. Thank you VERY much. PS--I do hope you will react (or possibly already have reacted) to Dan's newest: Iron Maiden's "The Number of the Beast." I was a little worried at how some people would take it (after his very blatant and fun hint on INSTAGRAM on October 9). Dan posted the video shortly before midnight his time, on 10/31--making everyone WAIT until at least some of them felt like giving up. (I had wondered if he would do so, because another Iron Maiden song is named, "Two Minutes to Midnight." 😀 I'm very thankful that the already-into-the-thousands of comments on the video are HUGELY positive, with wonderful understanding of where he was going with the particular song on the particular day, plus the HUGE "applause" for the artistry and action to all involved in the presentation. Again--THANK YOU for THIS reaction!

Amo esta canção! A Luz SEMPRE vence! 🤩 Daniel mudou o arranjo, ao que me parece (como quase sempre, aliás ❤) e o tornou melhor: separou a guitarra da voz e isso fez a letra (que é muito importante nesta história que canta) se destacar ainda mais. Achei genial! E ele literalmente brilha inteiro nesta canção - voz limpa (e romântica, ok), metal dourando as bordas de algumas notas, olhos cheios de fé e esperança, com muito poder e a alegria da vitória exalando do corpo. Quando ouço esta versão, me sinto um Cavaleiro Rohirrin cavalgando pelas planícies - vento no rosto, cabelos voando, olhos na Luz - correndo para ajudar Gondor. 😂 Vejo a luta do Bem contra o Mal (que são as batalhas que fazem sentido lutar) e a “certeza de estar fazendo a coisa certa”. Totalmente épico!! Ele foi “chamado” e atendeu, nós todos também o seremos… 🙂 Daniel literalmente me transporta para dentro do mundo que cria - em cada canção. Todos os outros sons existentes servem para reforçar o eixo da sua voz, ou então simplesmente desaparecem do entorno. Vi pessoas comentando que ouvir esta música pela manhã é a diferença exata entre “levantar se arrastando” ou “pular da cama e dizer: mundo, o seu problema hoje sou eu - é você que tem que me resolver!” 😃 São as gotas de frequências de cura e poder que ele espalha graciosamente para todos nós - em cada nota, em cada sílaba… 🙏🏻

A música Halloween já foi lançada e Dan diz que depois que o álbum MANOWAR estiver completo (e depois que as músicas originais nas quais ele está trabalhando estiverem completas), ele também está pensando muito sobre um sonho de longa data de fazer um álbum que contenha hinos tradicionais. - “metalizado”. Daniel canta de TUDO. A paixão dele é metal (principalmente anos 80) - então ele dá um jeito de “metalizar” toda canção que pega… mas é um gênio fazendo isso da forma que faz. Até quem não gosta de metal se anima a ouvir… até quem não ia mais à Igreja resolve voltar após ouvir seu Hinário Cristão, por exemplo…🤷🏻‍♀️ Tente algumas canções “desplugadas” e mostre ao seu filho o poder que Dan é capaz de emitir em uma única nota. 🙂
