Dan's arrangement skills are just as insane as his vocals. Incredible artist.

Yes it appears he does the filming and editing of the videos; in his earlier videos he did everything; he is now in a position to pay other artists to produce sound tracks for his videos and mastering the track. He has worked for about 13 years on his voice to be able to produce this kind of singing and doesn't actually like to be called "talented" since it is the product of a lot of years of hard work. It is evident how he has progressed both in his vocal technique and his filming and editing as one watches his 230 videos produced over a 10 year span. Dan Vasc is a metal singer to his bones. He also has stated he is a Christian and put this song out for Easter; apparently a bit uncertain how it would be received. I was never a metal fan; it was nothing but a wall of sound without melody or lyrics to my ears. This song came up on You Tube and I thought my favorite hymn would be butchered but as I was bored I watched. I was crying with joy at the end. This 250 year old song has waited all this time for someone to be able to punctuate its message with this kind of power. Dan Vasc opened up a whole musical genre to me that had been closed. I am now convinced that archangels in Heaven sing metal.

Dan is a cut above the rest imho❤❤ He's an amazing singer/performer. His technical abilities as far as the editing and the production are concerned, are exemplary. All backing and harmonies are in fact, Dan's voice. So glad that you're going to do more Dan reactions, thankyou😃

I appreciate your great reaction to Dan Vasc! I recommend his cover of "Heaven is a Place on Earth" and his intense METAL cover of Manowar's "Black Wind, Fire, and Steel." His latest Iron Maiden cover, "The Number of the Beast," showcases a new level of Dan's performances. He can also sing "Nessun Dorma." Dan's METAL version of "Angels We Have Heard On High" is a Christmas song of sorts!
@andrewevans5399 ай бұрын
You need to listen to his cover of Angels we have heard on high. Dan sings in Portuguese, German, Italian, and English. I also recommend My Mother Told Me. He does a lot of vocal layering on that one.

Loved your reaction to Dan Vasc. I really like that you don't interrupt the video like so many do. I think you would enjoy his Witcher covers - he has a playlist of those. Also his '80's Rock covers (Journey, Motely Crue, Bon Jovi +) are great. One of my personal favorites is his cover of the Disney Mulan song I'll Make a Man Out of You (metal cover). Of course, his Christmas songs, Angels We Have Heard on High and Adeste Fideles (O Come All Ye Faithful) are sung in multiple languages and are glorious. His metal covers of Sabaton, Iron Maiden, Dragonforce, Rhapsody of Fire, etc., are incredible also. Thanks for featuring Dan's music. I am looking forward to more.

What's funny is when I do reactions (on my other channel), I do stop the track to commentate, and people will complain about that too. People always complain about something! :D P.S. "Kiss from a Rose" is pretty good, but I highly suggest either "Burn, Butcher, Burn" or "I'll Make a Man Out of You."

yes he produces alone or with friends, his studio used to be a garage, you could see his opera side, since he has a classical background too, GETHSEMANA Jesus Christ Superstar or THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT - Phantom of the Opera. tksss

Thank you for your reaction! As far as I know, Dan's filming studio is still in his garage. (I bet his neighbors just love him.) I think that is where the echo comes in. Whatever his process is, I really like his videos. He's entertaining and energizing and has glorious voice. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

You have over 250 fantastic covers to choose from. And let's not forget his Christmas songs.. Adeste Fidelis and Hark the Herald Angels AND we at VascNation are waiting for him to launch his new one for this year! He also has his own band, Fearless, which is incredible. As you can see, Dan has been busy performing exciting songs for all to enjoy. Thanks for being one of the respectful reactors! ❤

Dan Vasc does it all when he puts out a video. From his phenomenal voice to the lighting in the room. The guy is a one man show from start to finish. He is one of the best singers I’ve ever heard, there’s nothing he can’t sing and his vocal range is out of this world. I have listened to just about every one of his videos and look forward to his many more that I’m sure he’ll make. 🎼😊🙏🏼💙

Can you imagine Dan showing up at your church one Sunday and letting this rip? That would liven the place up! 😂 You've got to listen to his Music of the Night. By far, the best version I've ever heard (with all respect to Michael Crawford.) And also review his I'll Make A Man Out of You, from Mulan. What a fun ride that is! Hail Vasc Nation!

The harmonica is very special to him. His dad gave it to him when he was seven . His dad passed in 2017 of cancer. May his name be of blessed memory. I read in a comment that Dan turned this song from a Hymn into an Anthem. I do agree with that. I think you might really enjoy his cover of the Star Spangled Banner. He released it on July 4th I don't know what year as an homage to the United States. I don't know if you seen enough videos yet but in a large percentage of them he's wearing a black tank top with the snake that says Don't Tread On Me. After reacting to the video then react to the apology. Apparently some people got really upset at his arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner and he takes a few moments to address their concerns.

Kiss From a Rose with Violet Orlandi is better than the original. The play of their voices is superb. And Victor proves every song is better with a guitar solo. Gabriel does the same for Adeste Fidelis. Do that one in honor of the season, it's as if the angels songs are indeed calling the worshipers.

Excellent reaction! I've watched a few of your other reactions, and I've been subscribed since the first one. As for Dan, I'm partial to his 2020 cover of The Sound of Silence(he also covered it in 2016), as it was the first one I ever heard by him, on 9/15/20. Yes, I remember the exact date of the first time I heard him; only artist that has happened with. Now, I have listened to everything on his channel and various songs he's done on other channels, and I truly love them all, even the goofy snippets he's done on various livestreams. He's had ten years of formal lessons, coupled with his natural raw talent and passion, and it shows in every song he does. While we wait patiently for this year's Christmas song to drop, I recommend the DragonForce covers, especially Starfire and Dawn Over A New World, The Number Of The Beast, Dawn Of Victory, and Rebellion In Dreamland. I'll watch reactions to any of his songs, though.🤘🤘🤘🎄🎄🎄

This was the first song I ever heard Dan sing. There was life before I clicked on the thumbnail and there was life after…I totally fell head first down the rabbit hole of discovering my new favourite vocalist. I really enjoy Dan’s music. That reverb at the beginning of the song makes it seem like he’s singing in a cathedral. (I like what you had to say about it.😊)

7:37 Me too! I totally thought when I first watched it that Dan was pulling out a gun! Saw a flash of silver, knew he’s a metal singer so I automatically assumed “bad boy reputation.” Boy, did I feel sheepish for assuming the worst as he played the harmonica so beautifully and as I got to know who he was as a person through what content was available on KZbin.
