You tell it. It is this "essence of something else" Dan Vasc always puts into his covers. Fans call it "Dan does Dan things". Thank you for giving Dan a thought and checking out his rendition of "Nessun Dorma". You go to my playlist with reactions on this. 💜

He dad was Italian and loved this song. The emotion Dan feels while he sings this I believe is because of this. His eyes are full of tears at the end ❤️❤️

Indeed - i think he did the encore, (which is not traditional in Nessun Dorma) for his father.

Loving your new look.. He had an Italian Father, that passed not seeing his Son's rise to stardom.. Dan is so very emotional at the end as he should be it's a very emotional piece.. but I am sure he sang this more for his Father

GREAT HAIR you're sporting 🤣🤣🤣🤣🎉🎉🎉 Thank you for taking Dan's version into consideration too❤❤ Yes, Dan does indeed make all his covers his own. He doesn't try to copy anyone, even when he brings the sound quality of the singers he covers into his own voice. He does so as a tribute, not as an attempt to copy them - but then he also doesn't need to copy anyone, not even the great Pavarotti. I thoroughly like the thing you said about it being clear he's a rocksinger singing opera, because very few people make that note. It's EXTREMELY clear and very audible, if you know what to listen for, which you surely do👏👏 All the reactors (who really knows this song), are surprised by him doing the encore - my theory is, he did that for his father, who was italian, and he has talked about them listening a lot to Pavarotti and Bocelli in the car, and this song was one of his father's favorites - the emotions very clearly run deep. Sadly his father never got to hear this while he was alive, but i do believe he hears him from where he is now.

Great reaction! I love Nessun Dorma and was ecstatic to hear him perform this (I think I’ve watched it 50+ times now). I grew up going to the symphony and opera as well as playing classical music on piano and violin. As others say…..Dan doing Dan things. That man can sing anything! Love Dan Vasc❤

Ohhhhh I think you may have nailed why I love Dan's version of this song the best - he is a rock singer singing opera! That's it - as a child of the 80's this version speaks to me so much...I can rarely listen to this without tears....no idea why!

Enjoyed your reaction very much! Dan Vasc has an absolutely beautiful voice that really is showcased, imo, when he sings Opera. The power, fullness, richness, and technical skill really shines through!

Dan was singing this for his Father who loved opera. They would listen to it in the car when driving around. His Father passed in 2017 before Dan really got into his own. Listen to American Trilogy that he sings in memory of his Father who passed 5 days before. Real emotion!

I am so pleased that you did a reaction to Dan's performance of this song. I think he does an excellent job and he is not afraid to show us the emotion he feels singing this. I am also glad to see that you now have Witcher hair, but a little disappointed you didn't do the hair flip! Happy Halloween!
@TheAnnestube Жыл бұрын
Yes, a hair flip would have been epic, but then son this sone, when would that have been appropriate? Maybe he'll wear it for one of the metalsongs, and give us a hairflip - but then the hair might fly off into the everafter (which would also be epic😂😂)

The last stanza before next to last vincero/encore, he does the same face/note force as Pavarotti! Shows the strength needed for hitting that note.

Oh my goodness young man you have to let us in you were thinking with the wig. Early Halloween costume? Or throw back to the days of opera in the 18th century?

Dan's wise choice to seek professional vocal training and music theory etc. early on shows his intelligent forethought and understanding that the voice is an instrument that has to be totally understood and always properly cared for to preserve quality and longevity. P.S. If you have braids and ribbons in your next reaction video, I may pee my pants:)

Fair enough MrLBoyd, you gave him a fair shake, and your rating is great for a metal cover artist. Is he Pavarotti? Nobody is, or will ever be Pavarotti again. But then again, did Pavarotti ever record an aria in his garage using radio shack equipment? Or better still, did Pavarotti ever do metal covers of femaile artists? By the way, I dig the Flock of Seagulls mullet...still scary all these decades later.
