His father was italian and used to sing that song, and sadly probably never got to hear his son sing this.

This is one of the most difficult arias! And he totally nails it!!!! Thank you for your reaction.

It's not just Dan's vocal range that makes us so excited. Dan also knows how to alter the original for a fresh breeze. Sometimes he changes more in his cover, sometimes less. Dan knows exactly what he's doing and he's always good for a surprise.I saw from your reaction that the surprise was successful again.

FINALLY someone reacts to this song! This one is one of my faves and makes me cry - I love Dan's version of it the BEST. Here is a link to Pavarotti's kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYjGaKmPn8yhitU from his 1994 performance. This is from Giacomo Puccini's opera "Turandot". Lyrics in English: Nobody shall sleep!... Nobody shall sleep! Even you, oh Princess, in your cold room, watch the stars, that tremble with love and with hope. But my secret is hidden within me, my name no one shall know... No!...No!... On your mouth, I will tell it when the light shines. And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!... (No one will know his name and we must, alas, die.) Vanish, o night! Set, stars! Set, stars! At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!

Dan's version is definitely in my top ten for this song, and probably even in my top five, but for me, no one truly compares to Pavarotti on Nessun Dorma. Dan comes damn close, though.

Dan sings this song so beautiful that it brought me to tears. You can see the emotions and passion in his eyes. Like all songs he sings it will get to your heart and let you feel it. I'm an addict from the first time I hear him sing. Watch Son of Pain, he sings that with a lot of emotion too

If you want to see emotion, watch his American Trilogy. Heart wrenching. It’s a tribute to his father that had passed away a few days earlier. His dad was an Elvis fan.

Daniel is a force of Nature, completely focused and directed by years of hard work, according to his will. He can sing anything he wants... and he makes it his own. He is a musical genius. He dives into the feeling of the music and modulates it for us, dragging us where he wants. His voice becomes an axis around which all other sounds in the environment disappear... This is the true power of his voice. And his generosity is in transmitting only frequencies of personal power and "healing" to people. For a showcase of his vocal ability, try "Bring me to Life" (Evanescence); If you want to witness the story of the evolution of a man's Faith (going from the reverent shyness of a recent convert to the joy of a son who feels welcomed into the arms of the Father), try Amazing Grace. Thank you very much for your reaction. Greetings and hugs from Curitiba - Brazil 🇧🇷

Jack omo pooch ee nee. Heavy Metal and Opera are not generally associated with each other, but Dan Vask could probably sing soap jingles with great conviction and heartfelt pain. Try his version of The Star Spangled Banner, and try to remember that he's Brazilian and wasn't born here.

I take it u know very little about opera. Neither do I. It usually leaves me cold. How did Dan do this so that it was accessible to a uncultured bumkin like me? Was it the obvious emotion he soaked this in? Was it the brilliant singing?
@yascaraalbuquerque51211 ай бұрын
Probably both: he manages to draw us into the emotion he is feeling; his voice becomes an axis around which all other sounds in the environment disappear... he places us wherever he wants.
