Absolute master-class. Dan should win a Tony award even if he hasn't performed this on Broadway.

Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained, he sings opera to heavy metal and everything in between. All his recordings and videos are done in his garage.

I agree, he should do a one man performance of Phantom - including the costume. Love this performance, it's one of my favourites. Hail Vasc-Nation ❤️🤘✝️

Even beyond Dan's unbelievable vocal skill, he makes you FEEL every note, every word. THAT is pure God given gift. Very few people can do that. And, as always, loved your reaction.

Heck yeah, the way he hits the word "soar" - whew. Perfection. And that little bit of slow vibrato at the end of the last note gives me shivers. Thanks for another great reaction!

He puts on a stage performance on most of his videos, but especially these operatic ones… like watching a play unfold on stage…. Thank you for your great reaction.

There is a movie starring Gerard Butler as the Phantom. He doesn't have the vocal skills that Dan does, but it's wonderfully done. The other singers are amazing as well. Thanks for reacting to this so perfectly. ❤

It's my favorite play, i could watch it all day. I hate when i hear some people butcher it with their singing but i would love to see him play the phantom in a Broadway/off Broadway play. He's absolutely amazing

Loved your reaction to this song. Would love to see you lose your mind listening to Dan sing Nessun Dorma. One of the more difficult opera songs for the male tenor voice and of course Dan makes it look effortless. Please add it to your list of Dan songs to react to, I promise you won’t be disappointed. ❤❤❤❤

Dan's Music of the Night is just flawless, and I'm glad you discovered it and enjoyed the experience. =D There is a movie version of the musical The Phantom of the Opera from 2004, starring Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum. Personally I much prefer the 25th anniversary production recorded at The Royal Albert Hall, though, with Ramin Karimloo and Sierrra Boggess. The movie isn't bad, but the stage version just gives you an added dimention to it, by being performed live. That feeling of stage magic doesn't quite translate to the movie in my opinion.

Ein wunderschönes Video von Dan. Eine tolle Reaktion von ihnen. Man findet keine Worte mehr, die beschreiben was Dan für ein Künstler ist, einfach großartig.

I love Dan's version of Music of the Night. Always have loved this musical and bought the CD of the Broadway performance with Michael Crawford & Sarah Brightman shortly after it came available. In the early 90's, I was able to go see the off-Broadway performance while living in Houston and it did not disappoint. Your memory is correct as there is also a movie which has Gerard Butler starring as the Phantom. Should still be on KZbin to watch and it's really good, too. However, I really love Dan's version. Dan also did a duet of another song from Phantom of the Opera where he's Raul singing "All I ask of You" with Christine's character and it's really good, as well.

If you can find a recording of the original ALW London stage production starring Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford, I think that would be a great starting point. 😊 There are heaps of other productions including one with Gerard Butler as The Phantom, it's ok but it's not the og...😏 🙃🐨🇦🇺

Ah yes, the memories! Though both produced by MicroProse Douglas Kaufman developed Dragonsphere, but Raymond Benson (best known game wise for developing A View to a Kill and Goldfinger since he also writes James Bond novels) designed the game before titled Return of The Phantom.

You should review Dan’s Kiss From A Rose cover. In addition to Dan’s out of this world singing, he has added the wonderful Violet Orlandi to make this an over the top cover as good or better than the original. Also, the editing and production quality is unbelievable. Please review this if you haven’t already heard it.

Totally agreed. It’s amazing how Dan upgrades every original song he touches. He doesn’t only have an exquisite voice, he is much more than that, he was born with music inside his soul.
@JoannBeaumont-lh8de3 ай бұрын
Totally agree with you, if he just sang the song it would be very impressive, but because he envelopes the character, and becomes it with every look and movement it elevates it to another level, its what brings you back every time
