Actually, Dan's brother Davi WRITES game music. He did the entire OST for Coromon. You can watch him react to music from other games, on his channel (plus he has a game-playing channel, as well). Just look for Davi Vasc, and you'll find him. He's tremendous, and a LOT of fun. The guitarist in this video is Gabriel Belozi. He is the main guitarist for Fearless (Dan and Davi's band). Gabriel and Giovanni Rezende (their FABULOUS drummer), grew up with the Vasc boys, since way back in their earliest elementary school days. Gabriel and Dan have a (very small) collection of folk songs on Dan's channel. They started their special project called Spyglass Inn, for just that type of music, but it didn't go very far. Regarding the nasal quality of Dan's voice in this video, he does a GREAT job of BEING the white wolf. I grew up in Alaska. We lived two miles outside of Old Valdez (before the 1964 quake, when our whole town had to be moved to an area completely protected underneath by bedrock, rather than glacier moraine). My brother still lives (10 miles outside of) New Valdez. He is a professional (mainly wildlife) photographer. He doesn't get many wolf photos, but he has a few, and lots of other animals. Anyway...we grew up hearing wolves howling (singing) at night. Depending on what's up with the pack, you can hear all sorts of different wolf songs. The Wolf Conservation Center has a ton of videos about wolf howls, and how they tend to go viral through a whole pack. I won't link to them, because my comment might disappear. However, you can just look for that name, and then search for "howl." Have fun. 😀

The guitarist is Gabriel, his friend and band member. Thanks for your reaction to this beautiful song. Since you are a Witcher game fan, Try Pricilla's Song from the game. He has two versions, the traditional version and a metal version. Neither is very long so could easily be done together.

It’s simple: Dan can sing anything, in any range, and in any style. And nobody ever gets completely used to that! 😊 He makes every song his own, and he has such control over that gorgeous voice that he can produce any sound he wants. I think this haunting sound is supposed to be reminiscent of a wolf’s howl. And Gabriel is great on the guitar, as usual. Thanks for reacting and sharing your thoughts. (Have you heard his Nessun Dorma yet?)
