Just received my Dan Wesson 6” revolver today, just waiting to give it a try. Along with my Colt Peacemaker, Remington 1875 and Schofield this will make a great addition to my collection of replica revolvers.

I really like it. The Dam Wesson 715 is an improvement but there’s still loads to like about this one!

Excellent video , I have the 715 in 4 inch and it is a excellent revolver and they have the rubber type houge grips. It has been one of my favorites from my collection so far . Question: can a 2.5 inch one use 4.5 plastic BBs? because I'm wanting to get the gold one. And I also know they're not toys because my papa train me on how to properly hold one number one rule keep your finger off of the trigger in less ready to fire, two always aim before shooting. And three well I kind of forgot that one I'm going to definitely need to you know remember the gun safety rules it's been quite a long time you know what I mean😂 but I really do like this because it's like a real gun but I can use it underage well obviously with the permission of an adult and they have to buy it because you have to be over 18 you know what I mean. But the cool thing is is if you're older than like 12 with the permission of an adult you can use one but one thing I am going to have to make sure I'm pretty sure I can use it at an airsoft rink but I have to show them that I only have plastic BBs just like in civil war reenacting when you have a gun like a musket they have to check and a public safety officer make sure there's no shrapnel in the barrel so it doesn't fly out and hit someone you know what I mean. But thank you for this video so I can see ❤️ and in my opinion I like the ones with the stainless steel barrel because I can clean it.😊 And just wondering does it have a screwin hole where you can put a laser tracer on it? You know what I mean so it can kind of make it look realistic when I'm using it at the range? You know obviously if I could you know like use it at airsoft I would not use it because then it will make it look really realistic you know what I mean and that's not good. Nice and weighty handle 8:04 nice!

Do you have any tips to clean the shells? because mine are very dirty stains and I would like them to be clean again.

Honestly mate I’m not sure. If they’re actually brass then something like Brasso should do the trick. WD40 can be quite good to clean metal also with a micro fibre cloth.

Just don’t use wd40 to clean or lubricate the rest of the gun, just the shells. Then make sure they’re well cleaned off and dry before using them.

Is it normal that all the Co2 gas leaks out over night if you don't use it all and that the barrel can move around.

I have heard that some of them have a small amount of barrel movement but it shouldn’t be significant. It’s a separate piece so there may be a way to tighten it. You shouldn’t lose all the co2 overnight. That said, if you regularly leave co2 in your pistols then the seal can become deformed/damaged and this may be the issue. You may need a new seal on the valve where it meets the co2 capsule.

@@airgunreplicas77 My gun is new with only 18 shots fired with 3 Co2 bottles been used but if this is the case that you have to use or loose all the gas every time you use it then it is useless and I will get rid of it. Things you don't hear about when you spend weeks researching them.

@@yeahrightmate I don't think that's a common problem with these guns so maybe you just got a dud. With only 3 cylinders fired, I'd take it back and get a replacement or a refund mate.

Cheers mate! No they’re pretty nice to be fair. A couple of visible pegs and a screw on the right hand side near the cylinder. One more screw on the safety/cylinder release catch too, but they’re all there for a purpose. There is one circular raised area above the grip in the rhs but it’s nothing major. There are lots of revolvers available now but these are still great in my opinion. I reckon if you hold one you’ll want one!
