LOL! I USED to live outside the beltway and had to be on the road by 05:30. It can be a very long ride from AA Co to Montgomery Co, happily I am retired and no longer making the commute. But burning up a lot of expensive ammo with my 1911s!

Yeah Buddy! Very nice one. I do like the clean slide. Its refreshing. Too many companies engrave every inch with warnings and manufacturing marks.

Antiquated, old, outdated, outclassed, and still the best there is. I daily carry a Sig Sauer Traditional Match Elite as a County Sheriff. I can run our state rifle qual at 100% every time with this pistol, many officers can't even do that with a rifle.

My primary EDC gun is a stainless steel Dan Wesson Valor Bobtail in 45ACP. Dan Wesson makes the nicest factory production 1911s for any price. Just got my new Dan Wesson ECO in 9mm that will get put into the EDC rotation. Already have 500 rounds through it with flawless function.

I was feeling bad, I asked you to shoot something you reviewed or I was researching 2 or 3 months back and you didn't do many videos since then. I started doing some gun videos, you motivated me. Mostly steel frame 9mm and 45acp. For me being a quadriplegic with pretty good hands. I work on triggers and like them around 2.5lbs.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Have you had any rusting hammer issues with any of your Dan Wesson’s? Both Beretta 9mm and Terribly Tactical have both had problems with theirs. I haven’t had any problems with mine.

In my experience that comes from crappy holster design. IWB holsters should have abacking that not only keeps the gun from digging in, but also protects it from sweat. Sweat will rust even stainless steel fairly quickly. It needs to be cleaned not just wiped off because the salt is mixed with acids from the sweat.

A beautiful gun. Another some day gun. I wonder why they didn't make it double stack in 9mm? They could have easily made it 12-15 rounds without affecting the grip at all. I've got a nice Kimber (Ultra-Carry II) and a matched pair of Desert Eagles - This would fit right in that range of quality.

I just got the Dan Wesson Guardian the first time I shot it, it jam almost every round then I broke it down and oil it really good I call Dan Wesson they told me it’s needs to be broke in 😢 second time was a lot better one jam only have a 100 Rounds Through it I got 1000 Rounds on the way hopefully that’ll do the trick.
