@@EL1TESHARK FALSE. Indy Cars series, she led 124 laps, and she was on the podium 7 times which included one win. Also, top 10's 63 times. NASCAR, she led 133 laps, top 10 17 times and she won the 2013 Daytona 500 pole at 196.43 mph, led a few laps, in the top 5 until the last three laps and she finished 8th. She became the most successful female race car driver in auto racing history for a reason, PUTZ. For damn sure better than you could ever do.

Danica's average IndyCar finish was top 10 maybe even top 7. Few drivers can say that. She didn't have tons of wins, but she finished races and finished in the top 10 more often than not.

danica cops a lot of flak mainly from her nascar career that was not very impressive . but open wheel ovals she was legit . she wasn't the best racer of her era or anything and got more attention than her skill level , but that wasn't her fault she was unique as fast female racer and the media was interested her. she won a race, she would have had more if she stayed in open wheel , bagged podiums and points . she was a solid top 10 on her day and in her element and thats better than the majority of the average racers that come and go from indycar .

In a way, everyone's got responsibility. If you want to say it was 3-wide, then Dario should've backed out. But it appears he did. But I don't think Danica knew he'd backed out. So she stayed in a middle lane. Meanwhile, Wheldon either knew Dario had backed out, or more likely just wasn't aware he was looking inside Danica to begin with. Wheldon leaves a car width of space, for Danica, but Danica is expecting a need for two car widths. It's probably not worth trying to assign blame on it

Danica in Indy is in that tier below the best drivers - the "solid, but unspectacular" tier. Plenty of drivers have had long careers in that tier - Bryan Herta, James Hinchcliffe, Scott Sharp, Robby Gordon, Vitor Meria, Scott Pruett...those type of guys would be in the same tier as Danica. Capable of winning when things break their way, pretty consistent in getting respectable results, but never one of the favorites for wins in a weekend, let alone across a season for a title. If those types of racers don't deserve seats, then the series would have like...5 cars each season.

Honestly, YOU CANT CHANGE WHAT YOU DONT ACKNOWLEDGE! Danica has never truly acknowledged anything. It’s always somebody else’s fault! Sooo.. I remember this incident. This is when I knew she would never win any real race. Why? Not because she’s female I have 5 daughters that all race. It doesn’t matter if it’s a male or female. If you see a driver that is emotionally unstable and then always blames everyone else for there problems. You can bet they will not be successful. That attitude of “ITS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE” is extremely toxic.
