I don't blame him. Aspinall is dangerous and not really that well known so what's the payoff for JJ? No upside, it's not a huge payday and he might lose because age catches everyone. And if he does win people will just find someone else who they claim is the JJ slayer. First it was Sergey, now Aspinall. It never ends, there's always another challenger. The brutal irony is that Dana turned the UFC's HW division into boxing from a decade or two ago -- with split champions, a guy ducking another guy so he can have easy money paydays, disappointed fans, lower sales and revenues than they could have been.
