The Owl House was honestly one of the best cartoons I have ever watched. There were a lot of funny moments and serious moments too, which I really like. Also I was really interested in Hunter's backstory and how after he found out the truth, he wanted to become his own person and in the end managed to do that.

I know Princess stories is the main thing Disney is known for, but I'm surprised she never caught Kim Possible. We actually didn't even have Disney Channel until 2003, and Kim Possible was still in its first season, meaning there were LOTS of reruns.

I honestly hope we can get to a point queer rep is second nature, something expected, and not something to be fought for. Personally, I hate when queer rep feels forced. Do you guys get this vibe, too? How so many cartoons have queer characters, but you can feel they are more there to make a statement than tell a story? Maybe I am the only one, but is being a while since I saw a show and didn't feel that my community was forced there. Like we weren't invited to a party, but they "allowed" us to come. It was the whole vibe I got from the Owl house. I do respect Dana for fighting for her show because I could actually feel the fighting, and bothered me it couldn't be more natural Or maybe it is all in my head. Maybe it is a fandom thing that puts too much emphasis on queer characters that makes it feel is the only thing that matter, when in reality is just a little seasoning for the show, hard to say. This is just how I felt

No I felt like this too and I’ve never heard anyone say that! Completely valid! And I feel really bad for Avi Roque because most of the questions people ask them is about his queer identity and not how they felt about the show or them as a person. At NYCC 2023, the only questions people asked them about them was about their identity and I can’t count how many people those were.
