@E Rock , Royce Gracie's career was winding down when Matt Hughes fought him, I think it is well safe to say, that if the two of them fought in each other's Prime, Gracie would choke his ass out.Strength wouldn't matter. Remember in the early 90s, when he fought Ken Shamrock and Kimo, and Dan Severn ? They were all twice his size. And he choked them all out. But it would definitely be a great fight, each of them in their Prime.

Sad to see but also great cause he can still communicate still walk still do things there just more difficult but all things considered he looks great for someone who got hit by a fucking train hope he regains more of his brain back but if not it don't matter he's alive can walk and talk and has a sense of humour that's a. Lot to work with if he can get to a stage where he can play with his kids help train at the gym and make love to his wife then he could still have a good life

The sense of humor is huge, there are good options for physical and speech therapy, but if someone's personality is damaged it's seems impossible to get back. Having a mind faster than your body is frustrating, but after an accident like his it's a good problem.

Matt is a great guy and i really feel for him, he knows he's not the same and can tell when he speaks it's not the same, he's a tough and strong person, i hope the best for Matt Hughes.

May God bless Matt and his family, I just learned of this, I remember when he was an active fighter and to hear him talk broke my heart, all the best to this man.

I think He is Mentally very good in that he can think well and is awareof everything around him.. I think if he . His motor function abilities have a long way to go and that includes his speech. His mind is their but he is somewhat trapped in his body. He is litterly learning to walk and talk again.

Matt all kinds of messed up and he could still say what you just said WAAAAAAYYYYYYY better. Did a walrus teach you english bruh?

As a long time fan of mma it's hard for me to see someone I look up to like this. I hope he recovers well most people who aren't built like matt hughes maybe wouldn't have survived. He'll always be a true legend to me.
