Most of his opponents can't match these attributes, so they absolutely need to take him down to improve their odds of winning. The referee in the fight between Cesaer Almeida and Ihor Potieria needs to be investigated. Almeida eye poked Potieria 6 times and the fight was only stopped 2 times. One of the stops was for a nut punch, so that means 5 eye pokes got nothing. The ref also seperated them anytime Ihor tried to wrestle and recover from the pokes. It genuinely felt like he had money on Cesar and did everything in his power to help him win.

Garry vs Colby would be a good matchup for those two, Shavkat is likely fighting Belal. That leaves Brady, JDM, Leon, and Usman up in the air. JDM vs Leon is a fight I'd like to see, and given Buckley's callout of Usman specifically that would also be a decent fight, presuming Brady doesn't get a crack at anyone else

Refs need to address the parts of fight where a fighter controls or holds his opponent without any wrestling grappling/damage or obvious success to destabilise the other fighter after roughly 15-20seconds of inability or some would say stalling. As said by dana not so much a new ruling needed , but more of a case of the refs using their common sense to break up a time wasting stalemate attempts.

Poatan v DDP at 205, DDP takes it via uppercut KO My reason: Rountree’s style is not unlike DDP, which means DDP’s coaches can study the fight and find gaps..
