were you talking about my comment re: Rongzhu and Yizha? That's not what I meant at all lmao, I was talking about reflexively fading the chinese fighters *on the card* for the same reasons, specifically Zhu as a grappler, was IMO a misread. I didn't say you "always" fade asian regional scene fighters, because I haven't been following your content long enough to know that!

You actually were pretty chill about it but people have told me similar things on twitter all the time when I fade asian grapplers. Zhu really isn’t a great grappler. I will say, this guy tonight is a legit japanese wrestler. Wouldn’t be surprised if he throws my boy around for a bit before getting slept

@@CotyMMA it's funny because I do generally agree about the grappling in that region (team lakay had fighters in the UFC and didn't even have a BJJ coach!), but there's a difference between Indoensia and the Philippines (etc.) and some of the more advanced countries. China has a few decent anti-wrestling top players and Japan's level of freestyle has massively improved, so I expect they'll catch up. I do think Rong is pretty good though lol, hopefully his injury isn't a career limiter
