Cormier has been quite annoying more than a couple of times, but for today he defended his title very well and deserves a break from the hate, as for the p4p he should be if he defeats Jones or if Jones doesn't come back at all

It's not only the casual fans that hate DC. In his fight against Anderson Silva, DC played it completely safe and took absolutely no risks. Sure, he's entitled to do that but it's not going to make him popular with the fans. Also, all the hardcore fans know he isn't the true champ. Jones broke DC at UFC 182, and Jones is the P4P Number One. No one is going to get behind a champ who isn't truly the best in his division.

I remember being a 16 yr old kid that went crazy the first time i came across ufc back when they had their first event ever. back when there were no weight classes just 2 dudes going at it. and i was so amazed how royce grace was able to dominate. Just my UFC conspiracy theory: I believe since AJ knew he was going to retire after this fight that he just completely played with DC's strength to ensure DC wins because if AJ won the fight he knows he would've had to continue fighting to defend the belt and judging by his post fight interview he didn't even sound like he wanted to train anymore at all. On bjpenn.com they actually show his corner telling him not to wrestle him and that they were confused as to why hes wrestling him. I think thats also why his coaches werent there when AJ was looking for them, They knew he threw the fight and just left.
