OKAY So I got confused at first with the whole repeating the steps over part because you don't start from the beginning To anyone who is/was confused when you finish the first little part and she says repeat it over go back to 1:52 and repeat from there not the beginning! I hope this helps! Love your videos! You do a great job in your tutorials! ❤️

For those of you who're confused with the repetition part watch from 1:52 again, what I did was after ch2 and flip over your work: prepare for the dc and put it in the shell 2xdc + ch2 + 2x dc, ch2 and go to that stitch that is connecting the 2 dc at the top!!! ( make 1 dc (unfinished having 2 loops on your hoop) go back to the same stitch and have 4 loops on your hook, pull through 2 and pull through 3 ... then chx3 flip it over and make 1 dc in the next chain (the one next to what you've just made) and carry on like the video... this made a straight line. I hope this helps x

I've got two great suggestions! If you want a racer back look, I'd suggest Rainbow Warrior's video "Crochet Criss-Cross Top Pattern". If you want a totally solid back, I'd suggest copying the bottom part from Annoo Crochet Designs' video "Festival Boho Crochet Fringe Crop Top" (you don't have to add the fringe & I made the whole top and I love it, especially the bottom!)

Whoa, this was brutal. After spending time with Part 1 and getting very excited about how it was going, this Part 2 was excruciating. The background music just made hearing you impossible. There was no clear direction as to where you were putting some of the stitches. I had to play it over and over. But I don’t give up. I am moving along, and am in fear of Part 3.

Awesome design, but just for future reference, it would have been great to see the pattern on the side of the shells done before you have to connect them- I got stuck because I didn't have instructions for the first side until I was supposed to be doing the second side! But thanks for the tutorial- I look forward to finishing my top!

2020. Third month into lock down, tried to release stress but started part 2 😂 room me an hour to get it. If anyone else struggles, play speed on 0. 5 really helps. You will still do mistakes because you can't see where hooks goes and having 1000 double crochets going to "a double crochet beneath" is as clear as saying one Russia is few hundred miles away from us. I hate being negative online, but this tutorial isn't tutorial. First part was brilliant, so you get all excited, confident and happy, and then you are thrown into a bunch of "beneath". Also she is saying something about half double crochet and those are not used at all? I managed to finish this one, but I had like 4 tries and mostly had to stop the video and try to make up pattern from looking at what it should look like. Someone says it's for advanced?well I have been crocheting for years a d this is the most confusing video I have even seen. The issue isn't the pattern is hard, the issue is its not explained AND not shown. So no visual guidance and no proper descriptions. Pure guess

I did the cups OK the bit between was wonky exactly where in the video there is a comment saying so I tried doing the sides I had the problem where it was unclear which holes to go in I ended up going along the bottom instead of up the side of the cup. There are several bits where it's unclear which hole to go in or when it says repeat its hard to tell if it's right. I've had to frog the whole thing it's nothing like the picture and am looking for a different pattern someone told you to use chrome as it can be slowed down doubt it will help as you say you can't see which hole to use

I love your videos! I just have one question about the second row of the side part: Is there any particular reason you chose to double crochet the last two stitches together? Like is there any particular benefit in the way it fits/lays flat or is it more of an interesting design part?

I'm currently making this top. Just finished part 2. Unfortunately it seems to be 4 rows to long for the torso. If I take out some of the rows between the cups, would it still look ok? I was thinking of removing rows 2-4. Since those are the only ones that could be removed without ruining the pattern
@eliyadimond20656 жыл бұрын
So the only problem I'm running into is when I work up the cup I cannot get it in a straight line? I also cannot see where you are putting your one half double crochet at. Seems to be why every time I try it, it dosnt look right. Can you please explain where exactly that half double is supposed to go?

If I were to make a larger size how would I go about it? I love your tutorials and the tops you make!!!!
@DanaBold8 жыл бұрын
+Quetta Whitfield add more chains to the initial size (the very first row) when making your bikini cups, and when you're making the design in between the cups add more rows of the single shell design ( the pattern of the beginning rows) before you move onto the row that adds the 2 spaces in your shell design. Then continue the remainder as normal. I hope that helps!
@quettawhitfield7078 жыл бұрын
+Dana B yes it does help! Thank you so much!

That's exactly what I did to finish up mine. The only thing was that when you finished one side first, it was a little tricky to figure out where you had tied off on, so when I finished the other side, I didn't have a chunk missing. :P Other than that I think this is coming out great! Do you line your tops with pads at all?

I had the same problem but i got through it. Just try taking your time and rewinding a lot, that's what i did. Once you get over the confusing putting the cups together and learning the new design ST. in between the cups. You get use to it and it starts to work out. I sure she had a hard time trying to explain better for us. Just try again, don't give up! what is it that you are having problems with?

+Senpais favorite I'm an advanced beginner I could barely see what she was doing I have made a couple tops and a dress I have made the black dress from anno from KZbin she even walks you through the whole dress pattern I have made the peplum crochet top and the crop top from brunaticality from KZbin I would have loved to be able to make this top as well but she is just way too fast and the yarn is way to dark to see her voice is very low can't barely hear her she needs to go slower even for the advanced people use a lighter yarn just go at a slower pace I understand why people are complaining so much maybe have a written pattern for this explaining step by step how to make this would do wonders

Although I am very happy with what I have made so far, this is the worst 'tutorial' I have ever tried to follow. You can't see half of what you're doing, you're not in camera most of the time and you even skipped a part. This isn't a video tutorial. It's just a video of you making something. This is so frustrating. HERE IS A TIP THO: PUT THE PLAYBACK SPEED To .5 !! It makes it more realistic to work with rather than pausing and rewinding over and over....

I’m advanced but definitely was confusing. Never use black yarn for tutorials please and a better camera would help, better lighting.
