the explanation of the cup corners is incomprehensible, omg, i have just lost an hour of my life. congrats to everyone who figured it out. going to stick to my single crochet cups and come back to see if i can start the tutorial from there!

Lots of love from India.....very nice pattern.....first i saw your thumbnail i thought to make it...... I was not confident about it as i am a beginner....but u taught it so nicely that as following ur steps i just didnt realise how fastly i completed my first crochet brallete ...... I like that u didnt skip a single step and u speak evry step so anybody who is pro can play ur video and start making it...... Though it took 3 days for me to make it as i am a beginner but today i finally make one. So i thought to appreciate ur work and ur awesome tutorials...... ur voice is so nice, calm......

For everyone who needs a larger size: Instead of modifying the pattern, I suggest using a heavier weight yarn & a larger hook. I used an L hook & Berroco's Comfort Chunky yarn. That way you don't have to completely rework the pattern in the center section

I prefer the talk through over the voice overs. This was easier to follow than the ones where you did voice overs. You seem to slow down and explain in more details. Thanks so much for sharing this video.

The back was a little too bare for me so I added a strap across the back just under the bust and then two criss cross straps from the neck that pass under the other strap. I used the double crochet shell double crochet pattern to make all the straps so they are a good inch+ wide.

I got through the first part, making the cups and [finally] getting the center section between them. Cool. And then came the 2nd part. After ripping it out more times than I care to count, I am trying to figure out how to salvage something out of this. I notice that the comments are disabled for this part too; maybe too many others found it beyond confusing too? P.S. I'm no "beginner" crocheter... I have made many fairly intricate patterns. But this one really does have me stumped. Maybe you could do it over? It really is a beautiful top. Thank you...

Great design...I find its easier to crawl up the side of the cups with 3 sl st's (slip stitches) instead of a ch 3... not appealing to the eye, plus it leaves the peice less bulky. Just a tip. But great design...I loved it so much I made one in white. Thanks for the tort!

If you get to the top early check to make sure you didn't make too many single shells leading up to the increasing shells. If not just try doing 2 chains on the side of the cup. You could also try doing less or more single shells leading up to the increasing shells if you're trying to make a larger size. Also if you're trying to make a larger size make sure you increase the number of chains connecting the shells otherwise the cups will fold up a bit.

I wanted to make this so badly, because it really is super cute! Buttt, it just seems impossible to me. The instructions aren’t clear sometimes and I can barely see anything so that doesn’t compensate for it either. My cup turns out super tall and pointy and I have no idea why😔

Hello! When you are attaching the two cups and working on the next design, which way are the cups facing? Are you attaching them and working on them from the side of the cups that will be on the body or is it attached while the cups are facing outwards? You say left and right but is that the “right side” cup that is going on my right side or on the right side when you look at the top from the outside?

Beautiful work and amazing tutorial. Question: why did you use such a small hook with a worsted weight yarn? I know this was a few months ago but was it Caron Simply Soft? I know that although it's a weight 4 it's fairly thin. Was it to avoid holes in the cups?

I am currently making this and I ran into a problem. I made larger cups with more rows and so I am not at the top loop when you finish the center design before moving to the side of the cups. I am wondering how to do another row or two to match up to the top loop of the cups. The 7 double crochets in the center is what I am left off with and I believe I need an extra row or two.
@rosebazor54307 жыл бұрын
if you are at the 7 DC (the fan) then you basically would repeat the same pattern afterwards with a sc in each sts ch 3 sc in the next sts..so forth till you have used all the sts in the fan. when you make the turn at the end of the row and get back to the same part its would be sc in the ch 3 space, ch 3 sc in next ch 3 space, ch 3...so forth till you have 6 total if that makes since.

If you want smaller cup sized, just take away stitches from the center stitch and don't make as many rows along the outside.

Hi! I was just wondering why you used such a small hook with weight 4 yarn because it makes it much harder to crochet since the hook keeps going in between the yarn or slipping off :)
@emilybond75566 жыл бұрын
It's to keep the stitches tight. You can adjust it to suit yourself. I myself used a size 3mm as 2.5mm is too small in my opinion. But you can use size 4mm if you have a tight tension
