THANK YOU once again Nim. 17 minutes in and already a developmental change, acknowledgement has overlapped me kudos to your humanity, wonderful brain, foresight, colation of data. Into my sixth decade I imagine my axons and myelins are on steroids, hughly inflated, pumped up, working faster than the average johns. From your talk I have found alot of answers to age old questions to my particular CPTSD. I am reborn.

Excellent lecture from Dr Tottenham! Watched all the way through, including the Q&A. Educational, accessible, and really funny at times.

Fascinating . Is the resting state analogous to the default mode network ? Also , I wonder, is there a reciprocal exchange between the Amygdala and the PFC in parents / primary caregivers due to their role as anchors or mentors to infants and young children that proves to be beneficial ? The question is poorly articulated but I assume you know what I'm getting at . Please make more videos of your insights available !

thank you i really enjoyed your talk. given the level of domestic violence these days, Is amygdala hyperfunction and hypofunction associated with abuse in spiritual, in mystical or magical circles? are psychiatric disorders in children of a "reactive" phenotype and are they related to abuse, is their amygdala over-saturated?
