I love how this istantly turned into "ASMR fighting for our lives", it's such an odd juxtaposition of relaxing and terrifying. Also, I'm glad they recognized that noise as an air raid siren because I live near a nuclear power plant that uses a similar noise to signal a catastrophic nuclear event and I was like "damn a plane crash and a nuclear meltdown? Bad day for this forest". Some kind of aeriel bomb threat having caused the crash makes more sense.

I had to take a break before the last run because my chest physically hurts from silently panicking from the scare at 10:30. Normally jumpscares just feel cheap to me, but with the great sound and environment design and the fact that the scares don't tend to be triggered when or where you'd expect them to be in most games like this, it really works. Signed a fan of horror games, an absolute cowardly wimp, and a D&P fan for well over a decade. Damn good return, lads. Damn good.

this game is actually so cool like the mix of traditional jumpscares with just really eerie unsettling moments like the plane crash audio or the random white creatures suddenly surrounding you in the woods and they don’t hurt you they’re just there when they weren’t before and it’s horrible

I'm not used to Dan and Phil being so quiet, to the point where this video was quite unsettling because of that alone. Of course the game did an amazing job as well on creating and amplifying the spooks. The two being quiet just creeped my brain out in a way I can't explain, lol. Super interesting idea of a game btw, props to the devs! Love it.
