DANBURY, CT - The Danbury Fire Department held it's Promotional and Awards Ceremony on the morning of St. Patrick's Day 3/17/24. Four captains, six lieutenants, fifteen probationary firefighters, and 2 deputy fire marshals were sworn in. Nineteen firefighters and one civilian earned varying awards for outstanding service and bravery. Several dignitaries were in attendance and countless families and loved ones proudly watched on.
