Hands down the best documentary I've seen in along time and Ive seen almost every great sports documentary out there but the real life sopranos come on what's better than that plus hockey!! Great great watch.

Grew up in Danbury during this time and it was amazing. These guys are what had me playing hockey as a kid at the ice rink. Was so sad when the team left but have awesome memories.

I grew up in Bethel and remember wanting to play hockey because of them. Since CT usually chooses Boston or New York it was nice to have a local team.

I don't think they ever let off that he was a moron. Just way too immature (as most/all of us would have been @ 17) to run a semi pro hockey squad. And let's be real, if they weren't cheating and funneling money into players on the side, the Trashers probably would have been awful. But let's all thank god that's not what happened lol.

Danbury used to play my home town team the Quad Cities mallards. Those games were so incredible. The fights that would happen were unbelievable. My god they were so bloody lol Watching this documentary took me back to being in middle school going to games with my dad it was awesome!!

@@eureka0521 I also remember when the trashers got disbanded. The town was so bummed, it was literally the thing to do in town. Danbury is a small city, but it doesn’t have a lot to do other than the mall, so when they left it was a bummer. They have a new minor league team called the jack rabbits or something, but I don’t know how many people actually go to watch lol.

Absolutely amazing movie! What a great guy Jimmy is! Did so much for Aj and all the guys. Mafia man or not there is no doubt he has a big heart and people love him. The only reason the government went after him was the fact that he was beating them at their own games. We bought some trashers hoodies from barstool right after watching lol. If this movie could be the gateway to reform the trashers that would be awesome!
