Actually I really like her expressions. It simply shows that humans deal with strong emotions differently. Mostly Tara is kind of shocked and has a hard time to show her feelings right away. But she is able to express them. For example in her final performance of Red Shoes. She can seem lifeless but actually she just deals with problems in another way.

Just realized this episode is so predicting the relationship among Christian Tara and Kat. Kat was mad at Tara here, not only because she broke her brother’s heart, but she has feelings for a boy who is into Tara. Like Patric said, things getting worse before getting better, aka Christian broke Tara’s heart then realized she is his true love, most ballet is about mixed signals and misunderstandings, but true love will always win at the end.

I understand kat being upset about ethan thing, and missing her party (being a best friend thats a given) but the other stuff, is not tara's fault. kat has such high expectations of tara, when they are both only 15. Neither should be responsible for such emotional baggage... JS. also yes it was sweet christian saying he liked tara, but the declaration was not all that. He said, 'you are the most annoying person ive ever met, and most of the time i dont even want to be around you.' Its clear tara is conflicted, and that what he said made it more so. But then again they are just TEENAGERS. :)

Tara just had stupid boy problems that she created and got her money issues fixed, plus has a loving family. Kat had real problems. Mom is a self absorbed diva who as a child forgot her in a hotel while she flew to another country on tour. And Ethan implied that it’s not the first time her dad’s promises are empty.

Kaitlyn G I agree with but don't you also think Kat was also being unfair because Tara was waiting since last semester to be able to dance on pointe and when she got it she needed to catch up and improve her technique. Also Kat acts like she expects her friends to rebel like her and gets angry when they talk about ballet like uh they should because this is a prestigious dance school and their suppose to be serious if they intend to be professional dancers. But I feel for Kat because she wasn't given much of a choice in her life and I'm glad that she and Tara made up at the end of this episode.
