I'm an all night girlie but my god, blue flame is jaw droppingly beautiful even after all this time! I swear the last chorus wirh the falling choreo and MJ's high notes take me to the stratosphere every time 🥰 Another thing I find fascinating about it is that, like other commenter said, they only perform this song as ot6, and when they were promoting it without binnie the choreo was super different! Like the base of it was the same but instead of just covering his spot they had new choreo for the verses, different formations, back up dancers, partner work, new transitions and all, so it really was like a whole different performance than the full group one. I always appreciated the effort they put on that idk, maybe cause binnie is such an amazing center they'd need a whole crew to fill up his place lmao

I just love ASTRO’s dancing style. They are so clean and smooth, especially Moonbin, Rocky and Sanha (at least for me, they’re my favourites). Them and Seventeen are two groups from the 3rd gen that have always blown my mind away with their performances

I can’t believe I missed this when it first came out! So glad to see you reacting to this. I really love Blue Flame as a song and it has fun choreo. Indeed the 6-member dance practice was filmed and released during knock era as a rehearsal for the performance you watched, which was the first time fans got to see Bin perform the song with the rest of the team. It has been an unspoken rule since then that they would only perform it with all six of them, so they didn’t perform it at their big concert while MJ was in the army, and we may never see what’s left of Astro perform it ever again 😢

Also you mentioned Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s side to side. Might be worth checking out Shownu and Jooheon from Monsta X doing original choreo to that song with one of their dancers. They just did a video for fun one time, but it looks great.
