I was relieved to see how most of your opinions were similar to mine! ❤ About RAN, SP for Dip Battles, he is now a member of MAZZEL, the second boy group from BMSG after BE:FIRST. He was the finalist in the audition where BE:FIRST was born, so naturally good friends with SOTA and other members 😊 He and Kensei (dip’s director / ace dancer of R2) were teammates and even a duo from youth till 18 yr old. They won many dance battles / contests together! At the MVD speech of this Round, Kensei mentioned RAN as the actual MVD (but SP cannot play ace nor receive MVD votes😂). FYI Here are some YT videos of MAZZEL - hope you enjoy! “Mazquerade” Official MV: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2avpYWwdr59lcUsi=SIX9c14qvtbbSv-a Dance practice ver.: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5SpaJSodqpshbMsi=WR2o0yU_ghd3TRVm RAN is in black knit cap with white logo “K&K” (Dance practice only) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWW4f6ikZt96r9ksi=z4IXDGpx7tIoCLUT RAN is in black zip-up hoodie & black sweatpants, with black baseball cap

@@jess_holyfield i’d love for you to check MAZZEL out! their dance line consists of very interesting individualities and quirks incorporated into their choreos like their song, Parade, has a breaking segment by one of the members SEITO in their choreo made by Quick Style!

Two straight wins! dip BATTELS seems totally different team from the past 3 years, Next round will be very important for them if they really aim to win this season. BTW SP dancer Ran and Legit Takumi are also very close friends, they used to dance together on 2vs2 popping dance-battles when they were teenagers. With Kensei, three of them were good old friends. Right before this 24-25 season, they worked together as teammate dancers on TV dance battle show that aired for 3 months. I think this reunion inspired Kensei setting him on fire to win D league🔥

I really enjoyed your reaction to the d-league round 2. Speaking of the Special Dancer RAN, he was a former popper and ended up being the member of j-pop boy band MAZZEL. There is a long story about ACE/Director KENSEI (dip) and RAN as you can see the other comments. So it's great to see them together dancing on the stage again😭

Thank you Jessica for your honest reactions. I was beyond frustrated when Raiserz lost this match. At this point, I'm still trying to figure out what the judges are looking for because half the time their scoring really doesn't make any sense to the general viewer, and even to you as a dancer. Unfortunately, without the judges' comments we can't even pinpoint what went wrong (in their eyes at least)

38:32 I dare to say that if Korea has Lip J, Taiwan has Chrissy Chou, Japan also has Calin. They are so strong in their Waacking style.
@jess_holyfield9 күн бұрын
I LOVED her feature moment here and our member from the beginning! SUCH FUN!!!! I thought Calin was more of a locker (based on her cypher performance from last season) but I may be remembering the wrong member!

@@jess_holyfield That is what unique in Japanese Waacking! Japan has special groove called "Soul Dance" since many Soul Train dancers moved to Japan. Most of Japanese Waackers can do Soul Dance (Even from the Monoliz's match this round). Korea also have Soul Waacker such as Soul K, Jini, Pony, Leever and Jeem.

@@jess_holyfieldOh!!Another reason may because there is no disco song on the show. I hope to see Calin more in the battle especially in Line Up 10 🤭 (Chihiro, the leader of Lifull Alt-Rhythm, participated in Line Up 8 as a guest battler)

I was watching the episode live on youtube, and i was SUPER LOOKING FORWARD to BOMs performance but i don't know why, it felt so underwhelming when it ended. I've never studied dance or anything, maybe i didnt have "the eye" for it. Now that I watched it again, i did not feel underwhelming at all... Maybe my expectations were too high ahahaha

Why do you act so high and mighty when you're just a regular guy? Will you shut up because people will think you Japanese are crazy? Are you really Japanese even though you use Japanese?
@アホ-w7w3 күн бұрын
@@jess_holyfield You are not wrong, the D-League does not have any rules about viewing attitudes. The Japanese speaker who is commenting is lying. There are people who use Japanese but are not Japanese, and I don't know about you, but the D-League does not have any rules about the attitude to watch. You are correct in your opinion.
