Hoshi, SVTs main dancer and one of their choreographers, is a HUGE SHINee fan. He is known as the vice president of the Fandom, he became an idol because of SHINee and it's proven that he knows SHINee's choreo better than he knows SVTs choreo (including the choreo that HE invented...). So it's very plausible that he added that move as a nod or reference to SHINee.

I love this choreo. Actually managers of shinee, snsd, exo, fx, and suju covered this choreo with mops. Its still in the sm channel. hahaha talented groups = talented managers.

Great review! SHINee never fails to impress. I'd recommend, if you haven't already I just didn't see it, reviewing some of Key's dance practices (Helium, Killer, and Bound are my favorites) as well as Jonghyun's Hallelujah.

@@jess_holyfield I wish Jonghyun had more dance practices published. Of course, the difficulty in his vocal lines precludes complex choreography, but I think he was still a talented dancer.

Yeah the mic stands are so heavy that only Onew is able to twirl the mic stand around! ( 8:47 )

SHINee This choreography reminds me of ice skating, you have to be dynamic and precise.

@@jess_holyfield They still use them. Onew used one of them for one of his solo songs (On the Way, I think?) And they sometimes mess up the choreo, which only shows how difficult it is. On the last day of their recent concert (few days ago) Taemin dropped his mic stand :)
