Jordan Sparks she is! Kenzie is soooo lucky. Maddie is an absolute lover. Me and my sister never got along growing up. She was mean to me. Now that we are older we actually got closer when she came out. She was a legit miserable bitch for years especially when she was engaged to her ex boyfriend. once she realized she was gay and had been hiding it all along, she did like a 180 in personality and we don't fight and actually talk. It sucks though cuz she left to Boston for college and never came back. But she got married and her and her wife did IVF and she had my first and only nephew last year!

makes me so sad. I think what actually happened is that Melissa didn't want Mackenzie to just be sitting at home doing nothing, and since she didn't have her own passion and Maddie did, she just put the girls in dance together because she couldn't be in 2 places at once for the girls. I'm glad they are old enough that it isn't the case anymore and Mackenzie has her own chance to shine!

@@JordanJSparks I think that they actually start to dance at the same time. But even though you can't be in two places at the same time: if you see your child unhappy about something which suppose to be her passion, you should as a parent find a solution. Plus she was dancing so many hours everyday! "Forcing" your child to dance so many hours knowing that it's not a sport she is really passionate about is bad. Plus Melissa was certainly not staying at the dance studio all the time before Dance Moms (one of the parent has to be at the studio, otherwise, the child isn't allowed to be filmed).

It had nothing to do with Melissa. At the beginning you could tell she did like to dance but as she was constantly compared to Maddie she lost her passion, and she was locked in by contract. Also remember Mackenzie would never be where she is today without dance moms.

I think also that the judges are putting more pressure on kenzie because even though she's never done ballroom, she still had acro and other dance genre experience. The judges of course know that and just want her to prove to everyone that she's good even without her private dance experience.

I’d say (being from Scotland and not quite ‘with’ the DWTS Jrs ‘thing’) I agree... All I can think is what someone else has commented on saying they’re being a bit harsher on her than the rest owing to the social media overload of how she has a massive advantage and shouldn’t be on this and blah blah blah (but think it in a Hotel Transylvania accent)... I was very much in the she-shouldn’t-be-in-this camp until catching the shows on KZbin from the thanksgiving themed night. Now I realise she was VERY small when Dance Moms started -she just wanted to “stay home and eat chips”... she was under contract to do a MINIMUM number of hours and competitions and watching grown-a$$ women argue over (often, though sometimes often warranted) ludicrous things... she has never had a childhood the way some of the other kids have -mind you, who knows which of the children in this competition are being the puppet for the dream of a mum/dad etc, so I guess all of them are in spotlight and hounded and slated on social media and being followed by paparazzi. In this, I think I TRULY see her tears and realised she hasn’t as it easy. Some of the others in this competition flip and do tricks and have a “no fear/no danger” attitude... she doesn’t get to have that... they all have parts of them which help them be able to participate in the show and parts that would be challenging for them. It’s pretty much evened out.

I was so proud of Kenzie this season, all her life she was always compared to Maddie, but while she was on the show, she got to show everyone that she can be her own dancer. And when they danced this dance, you could tell that there was no competition between each other, unlike what Abby forced them to have.

It’s interesting that at the beginning of the dance Kenzie and her dancing was like in the shadows (kind of like how she was always in Maddies shadow) however then she moved out of it and was in the spotlight.... Also even when Maddie came on both of the girls danced together in the spotlight and were stars together in their own right... I think it shows how Kenzie has moved out of her sisters shadow and now they can both shine together in everything they do without and comparison or the feeling that Kenzie was in Maddies shadow... Love them both💗💗💗

The judges are being harder on her because of her previous experience, and I think it’s a smart move because the show is already getting sooo much hate for Kenzie even being on the show. Plus she’s the oldest of the group and they have judged the other older ones (miles and Mandla) similarly. Sky is only 10 and is technically excellent. She is young and immature, so her movements look slightly stiff and childish, but they’re /not/. Like the foxtrot that scored so highly, the hold looked like a little funny because it was such an adult pose, but that IS how it’s supposed to be done. You can clearly see how excellent the precision in her movements were compared to the other little kids. I do think Kenzie should’ve gotten a 10 by now, but all of sky’s scores have been so well deserved.

Ballroom dancing is in a world all of its own. Just because those girls knew how to dance, they still had to learn everything they did on that stage. Completely different style of dancing, different moves, different technicalities, different style of music. It’s different in every way. With VERY strict rules for the dances, but I’m sure you know that lol.

What’s worse is that when Kenzie finished dance moms everything Abby said to her made kenzie feel like she wasn’t good enough. The worst part is that comparing yourself to your sister who yes was more advanced in dance because she has been doing it more and started at an earlier age, you are going to feel unworthy. I am presently surprised at how well kenzie danced on Dancing with the Stars junior's, and the way she danced during her wonderful video!
