I'm listening to this song because I lost my uncle named Carl Barker. He had a very unique voice that was deep yet smooth . He liked sci-fi ,thriller and comedies, he was tall ,built and has golden skin and wavy jet black hair . He loved almost all music including rock/grunge and even metal. He was so diverse and I will miss him dearly . I'm so lucky to have him immortalized in some way ...this song helps.

I understand where you're coming from cause I used to feel the exact same way, yet being a very, very big fan of this band I've come to realize that the only way get the best out of their music as a listener is to appreciate all their records for what they are. DGD's a band that intentionally changes their sound every record not because they run out of ideas and can't do any better. Just because that's how progressive and experimental they are. Like I said, my dude, ALL DGD is good DGD.
