I love this album. I love that you have the lyrics up too. I played this album on my way to and from work for at least a month. I don't usually like the genre where they scream but with DGD Jon Mess does such good job with it that it's sometimes my favorite part.

Not to diss Jonny, Kurt, or Anthony....but DGD will never be better than when Jon and Tilian would play off each other or when they dual layered their vocals. PEAK DGD.

I love all dgd phases, but I started with Jonny and he is my favorite. Imo, Tilian sounds better because he got into the band when they were way more polished than back in the days with Jonny and even Kurt. I mean, just compare Jon Mess vocals on DBM I or II and the difference is huge. Jonny was way ahead of the band when they were together and thats why the recent version of DGD will (almost) always be better. Excited to see what's coming now with Andrew.

The Tilian shit fucked up a great show! DGD was supposed to be supporting Coheed in 2022. Then, the allegations came out and DGD was kicked off the tour, replaced with Alkaline Trio... they were very meh. Shit actually, it worked out because it led to a fucking banger tour! Andrew Wells on vocals, and Marc Okubo from Veil of Maya filling in as 2nd guitarist. Fucking Royal Coda and Body Thief opening up the show for them. It was so good.
