I think he’s singing with his head voice when he hits those highs, so the projection isn’t as powerful as it would be if he were belting out the notes from his chest. I could be wrong, but that’s why I think it isn’t quite as impactful. Still crazy impressive tho.

I've only just recently heard the band and love their music. On wikipedia it says theres 5 members of the band but playing live here theres 6. Is one of them just a touring member or is wikipedia behind the times?

The extra is usually Andrew Wells, who tours with but doesn't join the band. You can hear his epic guitar easy, but he has vocals in one of the new album songs and in a couple of the Tree City Pt. 2 sessions. Epic singer. You can hear more from him in the band Eidola.

Can someone PLEASE explain what Will Swan is doing on the guitar in the intro/first-verse/outro? Like, he's clearly only playing one part but you can hear multiple jumbled notes playing. This is true in the studio release as well; it's like a jumbled mess of different notes. It sounds awesome but it's impossible to transcribe - anyone managed it?

There's reverb on it, but it's definitely just the two of them playing. I think Andrew Wells' part just blends in really well to create the effect, it's just the 2 guitars and a bit of reverb though.
