I've been a long time fan, down town battle mountain. I'm not too active in any of their forums or anything like that, but I like to think I'm a big fan. Hearing they're going back to what got me hooked is exciting. Musically I've always been a fan some songs I like better than others but I don't ever hate on any of their choices. I cannot wait until the new album and any changes that may come. Keep the music coming and don't stop!

Dude that tour holds one of my greatest memories. I saw them at the New Daisy in Memphis & let me just say, if you want to hang with this band, BRING WEED. My friend who's a girl & I got to hang with everyone on the bus until 4am, & these dudes are THE coolest ever. Seriously. Not to mention the show itself was beyond amazing. Seeing Jonny, Kurt & Tilian all sing Uneasy Hearts at the end all together was like a fever dream but in a good way.

Plus, I'm really excited to see what Jonny does with his new band. Their first couple singles have been SOLID and I'd hate to lose that to get slightly better DGD when we could have still awesome DGD as well as damn good Old Flame.

Been a loyal fan since day 1 and been there through the rise and fall of singers etc. Never stopped listening to them and honestly have nothing bad to say about their sound. I wasn’t a massive fan of the albums with Tillian, but grew to actually love them after a few listens due to the musical experimentation that the band went with to accommodate his more pop sound. I really really am liking the more heavy sound recently and honestly can’t wait to see what’s next. Also hearing “never say never” on a possible Jonny collab for a few shows fills me with hope. I attended the reuinion shows with Jonny for DBM1 and 2 at Camden Underworld and honestly those were some of the best shows I’ve attended in my lifetime so far as far as the energy of the band. I think as seasoned musicians, they never miss and for those fans who only discovered the band only during the tillian era and moan about it, they should go back and listen to the previous records too. DGD to me has always been a very unique band, that has always accommodated changed and constantly experimented with their sound, which is what always gets me excited for new releases and new music. DGD also didn’t just pioneer the Swancore sound, they’re the godfathers of it. Keep doing your thing! Loved this Interview to clear things up and it’s wholesome to see the positive energy between you all. Fan since day 1 and will continue to be so. ❤️
