i do the same thing. even when its a rlly rlly sad moment i literally cant stop smiling or laughing. its my was of coping i guess. and im honestly glad that laughing and smiling is my way of coping with rlly hard times its better then crying imo.

Yeah it's a pretty common thing to smile or laugh when you're nervous. I have a few classmates who do, there was one time a friend of mine got in trouble for laughing at a bad time but it was only because she was nervous and uncomfortable and didn't know what to do
