The show was to be a documentary about dance (one season) so I don't think the moms had a problem with that but then Abby had the fight with Dawn and the producers loved that. They give the moms contracts as the producers decide to do more seasons but unfortunately the producers tricked the moms with the contracts in having 4+ with them and the moms have said it was hard to get out of it, Kelly only got out due to the fight with Abby and having Brooke and Paige sue Abby. So in a way it is the moms fault for not reading the contracts better but all the blame goes to the producers

I agree but the producers made them a contract in a hurry and the mother didn't understand that for the next 7 years if any girl wanted to quit she would't have the right to keep on dancing competitively and at first abby was not like this so in a way they were kinda trapped

Actually no. No one is too good. The fact is whenever Maddie couldn't make it to an competition she took it out on Mackenzie. At your age Maddie was doing this. At your age Maddie was winning. Season 6 she was brutal to her because Maddie dared to do what her and mom set out. Get her discovered and she was. Abby wasn't placing first and she told Melissa she came here to dance not work clear her schedule now! Then she was nasty to Mackenzie. She intentionally made sure Mackenzie lost her last solo.

Its not about who was too good for this. All of those children needed extensive therapy. And for some people, something like this isn't healing, its opening up old wounds that they would rather keep closed. I hope it was healing for the girls that did go to the reunion. But the Ziglers knew it would just be more drama and they didn't want that. Its not about being too good it's about mental health at the end of the day, something Abby took away from each of those girls. Leave Maddie and Kenzie.
