*My theory of what happened:* When Chloe and Christi left after the big fight with Abby, none of the girls (except Nia) called Chloe during the summer after the fight. This would have definitely upset Chloe and Christi because it would feel like after this huge emotional fight, no one cared about them. However, at the beginning of Season 5 when Chloe and Christi didn't show up, that was when all of the girls and the moms started to call them. I mean, it would really make no sense if you don't call someone you've danced with for years, even if you weren't best friends with them. Chloe and Christi just felt like no one had their backs after the fight since they didn't call them during the summer, but only after they didn't show up in the studio. But it really broke my heart when Christi started crying, Jill barely had any idea of what she and Chloe went through :(
