I hate how the show tried to make Maesi look like she was a back-up dancer. Just watch Maesi's solo titanium and wide awake. Her lines, her technique, her flexibility are just mind blowing. She is more than a hiphop dancer.

That titanium solo was something that was rehearsed for many months. Maesi was overrated by many fans on here. She forgot more than one dance. She rushed her dances. She was fantastic with her flexibility and hip hop but couldn’t pull off other genres. Simple.

Throwing up from nerves is definitely a thing. I’m a synchronised (artistic) swimmer and I was so stressed last year at one of our national competitions, my team competed and I threw up as soon as we got into the changing rooms afterward. The whole day afterward, people were asking me if I felt okay, and tbh i felt fine immediately after throwing up

It’s crazy how here, Stacey cannot wrap her head around the idea that the nerves are what making Maesi sick. That along with immense pressure and stress. In season 8, Lilly is going through the same thing when she fell, cut her hair, etc. This environment is so taxing on these kids. idk it was just something I observed. Stacey was so quick to escalate the situation and it just rubbed me the wrong way I guess.

I hate reading the comments on this video. I’m with the other moms on this one. She *could* have been sick. There is absolutely no way to know for sure. If your kid throws up (whether from anxiety, lack of sleep, or the stomach flu), they’re not supposed to go to school. It’s that simple. Kids get sick, especially when they are not eating or sleeping because that weakens their immune systems. When those kids are sick, they get other people sick.
