This makes my heart happy. I’ve seen so many “updates” saying the girls are not allowed to speak to each other and they’ve all gone their own ways. I think we would all love to see a reunion with all of them and let them speak their truths instead of the videos made for ratings by people who have no idea what is really going on. I was never a dance mom I was a martial arts mom with my son. Thankfully we didn’t argue because who wants to get a kick to the head lol. But even the two different places he took classes had their drama and it made it less enjoyable for us. It also destroyed their programs and had to close. By the time he was in middle school he was at the second place he went and was teaching classes when the owner/instructor couldn’t be there. Obviously i would be there to supervise but talk about responsibility. What middle school age child had their own key to any sport or dance studios? We loved the sport but the drama that was caused by the actual owners made him decide to not try to find another school. He would have 3-7 classes a week which was a lot but it showed his dedication it was sad to see it all disappear over night.

Yeah, I'm a martial arts child and I can back this up. For me, it was more that the parents brought their own children down. I don't have a relationship with my dad anymore because he was so OBSESSED with winning that if I got anything less than gold it was a huge issue, this caused so much drama in my club because he really got that from another parent, so some parents kind of followed the same pattern and other parents were the total opposite and took the unlucky ones like me under their wing and would get into HUGE fights with the parents who were all about winning, it just never felt right. Even now, my mum and dad have split up and he refuses to pay for me and my sister, so my mum doesn't have enough money to come to competition with me and I go alone because I would NEVER want my dad to attend with me ever again after the way he treated me. I think competitive sports are fantastic, but parents and drama can really affect the environment and if parents forget that it's about enjoyment and get into drama and are too obsessed with victory it just ruins the sport. Even today I'm still fighting to get my confidence back after the things that have been said to me by my dad and other parents... Its just sad when things like that happen. Luckily, I still compete! So it's a shame it came to an end for you and your son...

While the kids are encouraged to maintain their athletic condition, they are often filmed eating what they want or talking about where they like to eat so I doubt that's the case for Brooke. Maybe there are just short people in Brooke's family that she takes after. But you are right about the growth plate. It would just cause a deformity in one bone and only if it broke all the way through.

I literally grew up along side some of their children (im now 23) Just from watching the show RELIGIOUSLY with my mom when it first came out. However, I’m a classical vocalist and MT kid my mom went with me to 10-15 vocal competitions every year for 5yrs...I cannot tell you happy she was that my main focus wasn’t dance because she did NOT wanna be a “dance mom” 😂. Little did she know, your kids were inspiring me to dance the ENTIRE time, so much so that I began dance classes at my local community theatre and started dancing 4 days/wk for 1.5hrs in HS, and am currently about to finish college with a minor in dance. Whenever someone asks who/what got me into dance I name off your daughters 😂. All of the flexibility, turns, and leaps I learned and wanted to perfect were from watching your kids execute those tricks and techniques (mostly) flawlessly. Just want to say thank you all for being a HUGE impact on my Drive as a dancer. To this day, it is my hope that I will get to share the stage with at least one of these talented women y’all have raised!

One time at the post office, other time at the movie theater in Monroeville, PA. They are so humble and sweet and even let my sister and I take pictures with them.
