Have you ever wondered how the Dragon and Lion Dances in the Philippines are performed?
This meaningful and colorful tradition has been performed in the streets of Binondo, Manila for many years now, with big furs and silly dances of Lions and Dragons accompanying the beat of drums. It eventually became a tradition in Binondo that passed down through generations.
This festival has also become a source of tourism and income for most people in Binondo, Manila.
Filipinos embraced the tradition and began practicing the act every Chinese New Year.
