This song was on their crazy in love album with LoCo and swipe. But it didn’t get a video. ITZY is indeed a more dance focused group, also they're all lower range type of singer but still amazing vocalists, u should definely check MIDZY (TRUST ME) a song more vocal focused they made for their fans. usually u got to see it in their bsides rather than title tracks since they're a more dance focused group. u should check their dance pratices, also check NOT SHY, ICY and DALLA DALLA MV's. the Kitty girl is Yeji (leader, main dancer, lead vocal, i think she's also lead rapper but no sure), the center girl is Ryujin (center, lead dancer, main rapper), the girl u notice in dalla dalla dance pratice is Chaeryeong (main dancer, lead or sub vocal i don't remember, she also raps sometimes), Lia is the cute one (main vocal, she also raps sometimes) and the girl u noticed on Twenty MV is Yuna (maknae, visual, lead rapper, but she also sings). they have official positions, but they already said once that they don't follow it strictly, you know? Twenty was a present for their first fan meeting. It's so fierce but so cute so perfectly encompasses how it is to be 20! Ryujin with bangs is killing me! They also are saying in the lyrics how they are 20 but they are not fully grown yet so they want to enjoy their youth which i can understand! Yuna the lead rapper (sub vocalist) and she really killed it in this. She sings a lot too. Lia is the main singer you're probably confusing them. Voltage is a fire Japanese track they really went hard and the choreo is great I was thankful for a dance performance of it. Dalla dalla was a fierce debut song its so good and cute! Also Lia was not as skilled in dancing at the beginning but since she has really come far and doesn't stand out as lesser at all. And even in the beginning she was keeping up with very highly skilled and trained dancers so I tip my hat to her skills even then! More than I could do!

Chaeryeong and Yeji are the main dancers, in dalla dalla Yeji is in all white and Chaeryeong(in dalla dalla) is in black with a ponytail her adidas pants have stripes. Ryujin (dalla dalla) is in all black and she is a lead dancer, Yuna with the red hair (in dalla dalla) is a lead dancer.. So ITZY has 2 main dancers, and 2 lead dancers. ONE THING TO watch for in all ITZY videos is Hairography, they actually do hair choreography and it's syncronized. AT 14:50 watch Yeji and Lia hair whip in-sync on the left.. Seriously perfect sync.

Your take on the dance practice is definitely correct, one of the member is weaker in terms of dancing than the other 4. It’s Lia, their main vocal. I’m not saying this to diminish her effort, but she has stated it herself that sometimes she felt behind in terms of dancing in a message video for their fans. That was earlier in their career tho, recently Lia has improved a lot and is keeping up with the other. In addition, Lia has the shortest trainee period in the group. :3

I agree with you about Lia. In the early vids like ICY, Lia has relatively simple dance moves. She is getting better and better. Chaeryeong is the best dancer and is exotically beautiful at the same time. She's always attracting my eye (especially in that biker gear).

ITZY was built as a performance based group. Choreo, stage presence, constant formation switches, stable vocals while dancing are their strong suits. Their mics are always on! That’s not to say they cannot sing. They definitely can but it’s not showcased as much. They don’t have many ballads but as others pointed out “Trust Me (MIDZY)” is a fan song ballad and they do a great job harmonizing. However ITZY is synonymous with top tier stage performances. Check out their MAMA 2021 performance of Loco and Mafia in the Morning, it will blow your mind!

Thank you for reacting to itzy, it made my day. I think a live performance of them is an appropriate followup. They are well known for their live performance skills, they are not only known for their dancing but their stable vocals as well despite dancing to a hard choreo. Stages like MAMA 2021(the best so far), MMA and MAMA 2019, SBS 2021 and 2019 VLIVE Heartbeat Awards, just to name a few.

But I do admire how they always sing live while doing hard choreos on live shows. 3 main I would recommend 1. 2021 MAMA itzy-loco in the morning (this is live perf and so good 👌🏼) 2. Their ballad song MIDZY - itzy kcon:tact 3 (hear their live vocals here) 3. Jessi-Itzy show interview (this is hilarious, if you get to know them they're so funny and soft hearted group). i feel like yuna does their hook raps most of the time esp with mafia in the morning (the one that did the fast rap near the beginning). but ryujin and yeji are like the classic rappers. lia is the standout main vocalist though. chaeryeong is one of the main dancers and sub vocalists. however, everyone can sing and everyone rap. you can see that kpop as the years go on, every group has members who can do both rap, sing, and dance well, so there are less defined positions as the years have gone by. they can all def sing super well, but I think yea jyp were focused on their dance for this group esp for their title tracks, but their b-side songs do showcase more vocals. the title tracks are more in your face with their dances and visuals, which is why you have not seen a lot of their vocally based songs!

The girl you liked "the red hair girl" is my bias chaeryeong and what's sad is that from Dalla dalla - Loco, many people critisized her for being a VISUAL HOLE??? But as a MIDZY since ICY ERA my bias hasn't changed, and they do actually have very interesting vocals, the register is limited....but the harmony, duality and trills are very much present on their b-sides (B[OOM] BOXX, Sooo lucky, surf, be in love, nobody like you, Midzy) all amazing and now Chaeryeong I finally being noticed by everyone including JYP and is getting alot more in itzy and globally as her individual fanbase

You need to listen to the bsides. They are a performance group, but they can kill the vocals too. These video tracks are made for performance aspect of the group, they are not vocal showcases, but the background vocals on here are actually strong.. You need to watch, some of the Bsides live vocals.. They are very strong vocally. But you can't do that with a heavy choreographed title song. They dance and sing these live, so they can't be vocally challenging because they won't have the breath for it.

Definitely check out their performances especially end of the year ones it’s what they are known for . The MAMA stage is popular and I like the kbs stage. Ryujinies has a lot a funny videos of them and itzy bean has a good guide. Itzy et. Paris is good but long in runtime, their v2logs also help feel the dynamics between duos it’s not finished yet. Itzy cozy house also is coming out soon. Nobody like you the LA version is one of my favorite MVs because they just have fun.

Wow yeah, you are really clever. Itzy is a dance centered group! They are good with vocals but they are even more confident with their dances, in itzy 4/5 girls have a dance position: Yeji (the kitty girl) and Chaeryeong (the red hair girl) are main dancers, Yuna and Ryujin are lead dancers. Lia, the main vocalist, is the only one who doesn’t have a dance position since she is the one who doesn’t had any dance experience before entering jype. But lately the girls have been really showing how powerful their vocals are, a year ago they released a fan song called “MIDZY (Trust me)” and the vocals in this song give me chills every time. I really think you should react to: MIDZY, Be in love, nobody like you and ICY! and please react to an unhelpful guide to itzy, the girls are really funny and sweet.
