I am not sure a specific shoe is good for bunions. Make sure your shoe isn’t super tapered at the toe. So no pointy toed shoes. Also wearing a spacer between your big toe and 2nd toe would be helpful.

That first shoe is definitely not a competition shoe. I saw them on Amazon and they have elastic straps with stiff shanks. Not good. But ok for social dancing.

I think that would depend on the level of competitor and preference in what people like/need in their shoes. But definitely good for social dancing!
